Hello a beautiful day hivers! Ramadan is finished and we are backed to normal routine again, and for the past few days I prefer cooking light meals instead. I made a lentil soup and I would like to share how I made my dal soup. I hope you like it and try cooking it too, the ingredients and steps are simple and easy to make.
Ingredients:
Lentils 3/4 cup Onion 1 medium Shallots 8pcs. Cumin seeds 1/4 tbsp Mustard seed 1/4 tbsp Mint leaves a handful or as necessary Green chili 4-6 pcs. Coriander powder 1tbspn Chili powder 1tspn Garam masala powder 1/4 tspn Salt as per taste
Methods:
Boil lentils till cooked.
In a wok, heat oil, splutter cumin
Add in Onion, saute for 3-4 min.
Add in green chili, ginger, garlic, turmeric paste. Saute till raw smell goes.
Add in mint leaves, tomatoes, cooked tomatoes in a low fire.
Add in coriander, chili, garam masala , salt, turmeric powder.
Mix well.
Transfer masala mixture to boiled dal.
Simmer for 3-4 min.
