It’s been such a long, long time since I last used Actifit or even posted anything about my physical activity. Honestly, I can’t even remember when was the last time I tracked my steps. 🤭 Life has been pretty busy, and I kind of lost the habit along the way.
But tonight, I finally decided to start again to commit to doing 10,000 steps every day. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now, but I kept delaying it. So this time, I told myself, no more excuses. ☺️
I started walking tonight at Arca South, and it felt refreshing to be back at it again. The air was calm, the place was peaceful, and I enjoyed every step. I didn’t rush, I just went with my own pace, taking time to clear my mind and reflect. Walking has always been one of my ways to release stress and think about things quietly.
I plan to continue doing this until I go back home to Leyte, which is about a month from now. I’m really hoping I can stick with it and no missed days! I know it’s not always easy, especially when I get tired from the day, but I’ll try my best to be consistent. 💪
Sometimes, it’s not about how far or how fast you go. It’s about showing up for yourself, even in small ways. And tonight, taking that first step again feels like a small victory already. ❤️
