Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well! βΊοΈβ€οΈπ
Cebu City has always been my second home. Half of my life, Iβve been there, and it already feels like home to me. Thatβs why it truly breaks my heart seeing what happened. I never expected that Cebu would experience such massive flash floods caused by Typhoon Tino.
Iβve been through Typhoon Odette in 2021, and I can still remember how hard that was, no electricity, no water, and the feeling of fear every time the wind howled. But seeing Cebu now after Typhoon Tino, it feels like reliving that pain all over again.
Itβs heartbreaking to see the streets that used to be full of people and busy lives now covered with floodwater and debris. Many houses were submerged, cars were washed away, and families had to climb to their rooftops just to survive. π’
Some of my friends in Deca Homes, Talisay, were among those affected. The water almost reached their second floor. Their car and things inside the house were flooded. It was a terrifying experience for them, but praise God they were rescued safely in the afternoon. They waited for hours for help, but the Lord kept them safe. π

The photos show how deep the floodwater was. Cars were half-submerged, and the road looked like a river.
You can see how powerful the current was. Itβs hard to imagine how fast the water rose and how strong the flow became.
The aftermath left people speechless, homes destroyed, cars overturned, and families displaced. π
After the earthquake, now another calamity has struck. There are still missing people, and some families are mourning their losses. Let us continue to pray for Cebu and all affected areas in the Philippines. πππ
Iβm also thankful that my brother was able to go home safely before the typhoon. As for my family in Leyte, they are all safe and okay, but right now they still have no electricity. Theyβre trying to stay positive despite everything. Iβm in Luzon now, and we are also preparing because another typhoon is heading our way. πππ
Even though we are far from each other, I keep praying for their safety and for everyone affected. These past days remind me how life can change in just a moment but also how strong Filipinos are. Through faith, bayanihan, and prayer, we always rise again. π΅πβ€οΈππ
Letβs keep trusting God and continue to pray for our land. πππ
