Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well! ☺️❤️🙏
The other day, I did a little market shopping to buy my daily food needs most importantly, the rice, of course. 😅 But lately, I’ve been trying to minimize my rice intake and focus more on healthy and balanced meals. So this time, I made sure to include some vegetables. ☺️

Aside from rice, I bought some of my favorite viands, the shrimps and milkfish. These two are not only delicious but also packed with nutrients that help me stay strong and energized, especially now that I’ve been trying to be consistent with my daily exercise.

To replace rice sometimes, I bought sweet corn. It is one of my comfort foods! It’s filling, healthy, and a good source of fiber. I got some lettuce for my samgyupsal style meal. I got chayote for stir-fry on the next day viand, tomatoes and calamansi for added healthy meals.

After getting home, I cooked the sweet corn and shrimps, then fried the milkfish. I really enjoyed preparing my meal knowing it’s not only tasty but also healthy. ❤️

When dinner is ready, I decided not to eat rice at all. My plate had only sweet corn, lettuce, tomato, shrimps, and milkfish and to my surprise, I felt full and satisfied even without rice! 🤭

This has been my simple but fulfilling dinner. It's similar to what I also had for breakfast and lunch yesterday. Little by little, I’m learning to take care of my body better through mindful eating and staying active. It may not be easy, but I’m proud of these small changes I’m making every day. 💪
Every meal feels like a small victory for me not just for my diet, but also for my self-discipline and healing journey. I’ve learned that being healthy isn’t only about losing weight or counting calories, but also about showing love and care to yourself. ❤️🙏💪
Have a Blessed Thursday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖
