Hello splinterlands community. Hope you all are playing hard. Today I am back with another blog about the game splinterland. If you had already read my previous post about the game, you must know that I am very new to the community, still wondering everything. In the last post I told you why and how I started playing the game and what is my further plan with the game. In this post I will try to show what I am going to be learning today.

First of all, I decided to explore all the interface and functions in the website. I have to mention that I really loved the interface of the website. Specially, the yellow big SPLINTERLANDS writing. I also liked the interface very much. After scrolling a little more, I found some news and updates of the game. I had a look at all that news and updates. Then I saw something about Conclave. But I didn’t understand very well.

Then I kept moving forward and found something very interesting. It was the six elements of magic. Yes, I am talking about the six cards, they were Water, Earth, Life, Death, Dragon. The cards were really looking very beautiful; I am talking about the design.

After this, I found something really motivating. Splinterlands isn’t just a basic game. It connects the players worldwide. Moreover, Splinterlands is a global community. I also learned that this game is all about strategies. Finally, its time to start my adventure.

Now it’s time to practice some matches. After starting the session, I got a list of Battle rules. I had a look at all of the rules. Then a new page opens and I got a brunch of cards. Frankly speaking after entering this page, my brain wasn’t braining. I wasn’t really familiar with any of these cards. Then something more awful happens. I tried to select some cards, but after selecting 3 cards I wasn’t able to select any other cards. The time out and I automatically enter the match.

Before that there was a pop-up massage like this, I don’t have sufficient cards but I clicked start anyway. At the moment I clicked the button the match ends and the pop-up massage was Defeat. And I was like what the hell. Then I realize there are still many things to learn even go to the practice matches. This was my first match experience and which went very bad.

Anyway, after that little disaster. I took a deep breath. Then I decided not to quit just this way. Losing that first match made me even more curious. I was curious to find out how things actually work. So I just opened YouTube and watched a couple of tutorial videos. Though, there are very few videos on YouTube about Splinterlands.

I then found the and read the official guidelines on Splinterlands website. I really learned many things about card classes, mana limits etc. Slowly, I started to understand that each card had its own abilities and power. But the game was no longer a simple card match it's moreover a puzzle strategy.

Then I tried to explore the discord community. I even got a bunch of useful beginner tips. I remember it also suggested that I could rent out cards for a battle. This would allow me to build strong teams even with little DEC. It made me feel like I was part of something.

After that, now I want to learn more and practice more. I think I will do much better. I want to try many other modes soon. Actually when I will feel a bit more confident. I know I am still a beginner, but I am motivated. I really want to see where this journey takes me.
