This move comes in response to persistent issues with the Arbitrum network being offline due to Maya Protocol disruptions - a problem many users have faced recently. With native LEO becoming harder to access, this pool offers a much-needed alternative route for acquisition.

For weeks, users have been asking: “How can I buy native LEO when Arbitrum is down?” The answer is finally here. This new pool is live on Uniswap V4 and fully integrated with Rango Routes on LeoDex, allowing seamless swaps into and out of native LEO. It’s a direct, decentralized solution that bypasses the bottlenecks caused by Maya Protocol’s instability.
💡 Autocompounding Made Easy
The pool is denominated in USDC.ARB, which is a strategic choice. Many LeoDex users harvest USDC daily, and now they can autocompound those earnings directly into more LEO - and stake it. Even better, this sets the stage for an upcoming autocompounder contract that will allow users to convert their sLEO earnings into more sLEO automatically. It’s a win for efficiency and long-term staking strategies.
🗣️ My Personal Take
I’ve run into the Maya Protocol issue multiple times recently - in fact, I currently have over $100 stuck on-chain because of it. Whether I’ll get back my funds or my LEO tokens is still uncertain, but I’m hopeful. That’s why I see this new LEO:USDC pool as a fantastic and necessary step forward. It’s crucial that we’re not limited to a single route for buying native LEO.
I’m genuinely happy about this development. The only thing that could make it better is having yet another route available - but even this one might be enough for now. That said, since the pool is still small, users should be cautious: large swaps could result in significant slippage. Hopefully, as more liquidity is added, this will become less of an issue.
