Today is one of those Sundays to remember and reminisce about those nostalgic moments that undoubtedly smell like home. It's been a long time since we had this beautiful custom, which dates back to years when my family was complete, when we all lived in the same community.
It was like a rule that every Sunday we would go to my mom's house for lunch, and afterward, we couldn't miss our delicious cup of coffee. I'll never forget those sacred traditions where coffee was always present, not as a beverage, but as a meeting place where laughter, mischief, and anecdotes abounded.
Currently, even though life is taking us on completely different paths and we're not together, I received a lovely invitation from my younger sister to go and share a cup of coffee in the midst of rather warm weather. I considered leaving my house, but then something made me reflect. This is an ideal time to remember the beauty behind those old customs.
So I decided to put on a cap and stop by a bakery to pick up some freshly baked rolls, setting off with a huge smile. When I arrived, my mom was waiting for me with that look on her face that said, "I did it all, without saying a word." And between sips of coffee and savoring the bread, we reminisced about those anecdotal times, laughed, shared plans, and decided to take a break from a day filled with so much technology to simply enjoy the moment with a simple but very meaningful time.
Once again, coffee becomes that invisible thread, but with great strength that allows us to stay united because beyond its flavor and delicious aroma, this beverage has the great potential to reunite hearts, to pause in the midst of time and remember what is truly meaningful, those important and family ties, the endless and sincere conversations and the pleasure of being able to share what we truly love.
Today I reiterate that a cup of coffee is a great bridge between the past and the present; it is a space where the soul decides to reconnect, filled with gratitude and love.

Entre aromas y recuerdos: un café que une corazones [eng-esp]
Hoy es uno de esos domingos para recordar y rememorar esos momentos nostálgicos que sin duda alguna huele a hogar. Hacía mucho tiempo que no teníamos esta hermosa costumbre que viene desde hace años cuando mi familia estaba completa, cuando todos convivíamos en una misma comunidad.
Era como una regla donde todos los domingos íbamos a casa de mi mamá para almorzar y después del almuerzo no podía faltar nuestra deliciosa taza de café. Nunca voy a olvidar esas tradiciones sagradas donde el café siempre estuvo presente no como una bebida sino como ese punto de encuentro donde las risas, las travesuras y las anécdotas se hacían presentes.
Actualmente aunque la vida nos esté llevando por caminos totalmente diferentes y no estemos juntos recibí una hermosa invitación de parte de mi hermana menor para ir a compartir un café en medio de un clima bastante cálido lo pensé para salir de mi casa, pero luego algo me hizo reflexionar. Este es un momento ideal para recordar la belleza detrás de aquellas viejas costumbres.
Por ello decidí colocarme una gorra y justo pasar por una panadería a buscar los panecillos recién horneados y emprendí mi camino con una inmensa sonrisa. Al llegar al negocio me esperaba mi mamá con esa mirada que lo hice todo, sin mediar ninguna palabra. Y entre cada sorbo y sorbo de café y saboreando el pan rememoramos esos tiempos anecdóticos, reímos, compartimos planes y decidimos hacer una pausa en medio de un día lleno de tanta tecnología para simplemente disfrutar del momento con un tiempo sencillo pero muy significativo.
Una vez más el café se convierte en ese hilo invisible, pero con grandes fuerzas que nos permite mantenernos unidos porque más allá de su sabor y delicioso aroma esta bebida tiene el gran potencial de reunir corazones de hacer una gran pausa en medio del tiempo y recordar lo verdaderamente significativo esos lazos importantes y familiares las conversaciones infinitas y sinceras y el placer de poder compartir lo que verdaderamente amamos.
Hoy nuevamente reitero que una taza de café es un gran puente entre el pasado y el presente, es un espacio donde la el alma decide reconectarse llena de gratitud y amor.
