La vida siempre está envuelta de un sinfín de momentos, solo queda de nuestra parte el poder ser reflexivos y detenernos a analizarlo para que aquellos son tan pequeños se vuelvan impactantes. Sabemos que caminamos junto a otros y que debemos aprender a observar a nuestro alrededor y sobre todo el poder reconocer a aquellas personas que están caminando a nuestro lado casi inadvertido.
Hace un par de días tuve la oportunidad o mejor dicho el gran privilegio de vivir una de esas experiencias, que sin duda alguna dejan una gran huella profunda en el corazón, compartí con tantas personas a las cuales en su mayoría nunca había cruzado ni siquiera una palabra, mucho quizás los distinguía de vista pero no de trato, pero en su gran mayoría los rostros eran totalmente desconocido, pero si de algo puedo estar seguro es que la semana pasada le dimos inicio a algo que va más allá de una simple actividad rutinaria.
Existió un gran objetivo en común, el cual consistía en trabajar en equipo para guiar y apoyar a un grupo de niños y preadolescentes en diversas actividades en lo personal junto a mi esposo y una pareja de matrimonio adicional, estuvimos a cargo de 54 personas y aunque no les puedo negar que esto al principio pareció una misión casi imposible con mucha prontitud puede confirmar que lo más valioso no era simplemente el resultado obtenido, sino lo que estaba sucediendo detrás de todo el proceso estábamos creando grandes conexiones.
No puedo dejar de resaltar el trabajo tan impecable que desarrollamos, cómo nos reunimos con un mismo objetivo y sobre todo con un corazón dispuesto logrando así grandes cosas significativas. Cada palabra, acción o gesto fueron propicios para crear un ambiente donde todos los que estuviésemos allí nos sintiéramos parte de algo totalmente importante que fue justamente así como comprendí que las conexiones no es algo que se debe forzar ni improvisar por el contrario se debe construir siendo intencionales.
Y cuando hablo de conexiones que trascienden es que esto no solo se quedó en una actividad más de nuestro día a día después de la semana pasada justamente el día de ayer nos volvimos a reunir, ya que a raíz de ello habíamos intercambiado números y con eso un hilo de conversación mediante un grupo que creamos y sentimos la necesidad de intercambiar ideas y juegos por lo tanto creamos un punto de encuentro. De ser personas casi desconocidas pasamos a ser compañeros de un mismo camino y eso sin duda alguna es un regalo invaluable.
Si hay algo que siempre a mí me ha apasionado y que les puede confirmar mi esposo, es poder sumar a mi vida personas que me aporten que me ayuden a crecer que me inspire a ser mejor cada día. No me gusta caminar en soledad por el contrario creo profundamente en el poder y la riqueza que tiene compartir las palabras tus experiencias y hasta tus sueños, cada nuevo lazo que formamos en nuestro transitar es una gran oportunidad de aprender y también de enseñar.
Con esto he podido comprender el no subestimar el poder de las conexiones, muchas veces he creído que con el hecho de cumplir una tarea o actividad ya he cumplido con el objetivo trazado, pero ahora comprendo que debemos mantener vivos esos vínculos que nacen toda la vida.
Hoy valoro inmensamente a cada una de esas personas que compartieron junto a mí en aquella actividad, su esfuerzo, dedicación, su estado de ánimo, su Don de servicio, hicieron que todo esto fuera posible. Y más allá de un objetivo alcanzado y de las risas o alegría de los niños lo que realmente debe prevalecer en todo momento es que cuando nos atrevemos a dejar el miedo y crear grandes conexiones con quienes están en nuestro entorno, con ello estamos construyendo memorias aprendizajes y personas especiales que perduran por siempre.
Por eso, la invitación es sencilla: no te limites a saludar de lejos ni a mirar de reojo a quienes cruzan tu camino. Atrévete a acercarte, a tender puentes, a abrir conversaciones. Porque quizás detrás de un rostro desconocido hay un amigo en potencia, una inspiración inesperada o una persona que puede transformar tu vida.

Life is always surrounded by countless moments; all we have to do is reflect and pause to analyze them so that even the smallest moments become impactful. We know that we walk alongside others and that we must learn to observe our surroundings and, above all, recognize those who are walking beside us, almost unnoticed.
A couple of days ago I had the opportunity, or rather the great privilege, of living one of those experiences that undoubtedly leave a deep mark on the heart. I shared time with so many people, most of whom I had never even spoken to before. I perhaps recognized many by sight but not by manner of speaking. For the most part, their faces were completely unknown. But if I can be sure of one thing, it's that last week we began something that goes beyond a simple routine activity.
There was a great common goal, which consisted of working as a team to guide and support a group of children and pre-teens in various activities personally together with my husband and an additional married couple, we were in charge of 54 people and although I cannot deny that at first this seemed like an almost impossible mission, I can quickly confirm that the most valuable thing was not simply the result obtained, but what was happening behind the whole process, we were creating great connections.
I can't stress enough the impeccable work we did, how we came together with a common goal and, above all, with a willing heart, thus achieving great and meaningful things. Every word, action, and gesture helped create an atmosphere where everyone there felt part of something incredibly important, which is precisely how I understood that connections aren't something to be forced or improvised; rather, they should be built intentionally.
And when I talk about connections that transcend, it's because this wasn't just another part of our daily routine. Just yesterday, we met again. As a result, we exchanged phone numbers and started a conversation thread through a group we created. We felt the need to exchange ideas and games, so we created a common ground. From being near strangers, we became companions on the same path, and that is undoubtedly a priceless gift.
If there's one thing I've always been passionate about, and as my husband can confirm, it's being able to add people to my life who contribute, help me grow, and inspire me to be better every day. I don't like walking alone; on the contrary, I deeply believe in the power and richness of sharing words, experiences, and even dreams. Each new bond we form along the way is a great opportunity to learn and also to teach.
With this, I have been able to understand not to underestimate the power of connections. I have often believed that by completing a task or activity I have already fulfilled the established objective, but now I understand that we must keep alive those bonds that are born throughout life.
Today, I immensely value each of those people who shared that activity with me. Their effort, dedication, spirit, and gift of service made it all possible. And beyond the achieved goal and the laughter and joy of the children, what must truly prevail at all times is that when we dare to let go of fear and create strong connections with those around us, we are thereby building memories, learning experiences, and special people that will last forever.
Therefore, the invitation is simple: don't limit yourself to greeting from afar or looking askance at those who cross your path. Dare to reach out, to build bridges, to open conversations. Because perhaps behind an unfamiliar face lies a potential friend, an unexpected inspiration, or a person who can transform your life.
