This week is one of those where you want it to end from the moment it begins. We've returned to our workdays with a lot of energy, but also loaded with many responsibilities and pending activities.
For a moment, I felt like I was suffocating from the weight of so many burdens that were swaying me from one side to the other. Surely many of you have also experienced this feeling at some point, just when the days get longer than usual and fatigue weighs down your hair.
But if there's one thing life has taught me, it's precisely that after a storm, we can always find calm. And the moments I treasure most in the midst of the storm are those accompanied by something as simple yet essential as my beverage: coffee.
There's nothing cheaper and easier than sitting down with a group of friends and sharing our worries and troubles while enjoying the aroma and taste of a delicious cup of coffee, which allows us to open up a space of trust and harmony.
At the end of this stormy week, we couldn't help but close out Friday with rain, the kind that invites you to stay home, but your own responsibilities force you to leave. But as night fell, amidst our tired faces, several friends decided to get together after a long day at work. It was a very improvised affair, and without much planning, we just had salsa, some cookies, and a steaming latte to liven up our conversation.
But I can't help but highlight what happened in the middle of our meeting, something far more valuable and impressive than the banquet presentation. There we were, all around the table, each of us pouring out our hearts, letting out our worries, exhaustion, and even pent-up emotions.
Amidst each anecdote and our enjoyment of our beverage, we realized that our burdens weren't as heavy as we imagined, and in fact, that we weren't walking alone. The results of that meeting were so valuable that at that moment, I felt it was a balm for my life, and coffee, as always, was a perfect ingredient that reminds us to support one another.
Coffee always has that infinite magic. It's the ideal companion. It's the perfect moment to pause. It provides warmth in the cold and gives us an inexplicable calm in the midst of chaos. It's not simply a drink; it's more than what it represents. With it, we allow ourselves to stop, slow down, be wise in our listening, and even allow ourselves to be heard. That's why today, my dear friend, I want to remind you that in a world where we live so fast, coffee always gives us the perfect excuse to look into others' eyes and say, "I'm here with you."

VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOL
En medio de la tormenta, siempre llega la calma [eng-esp]
Esta semana es una de esas en las que desde el primer momento que inicia ya quieres que culmine. Hemos retomado nuestras jornadas laborales con mucha energía y a su vez cargada de muchas responsabilidades y actividades pendientes por desarrollar.
Por un momento sentí que me estaba asfixiando por tantas cargas que aparecía de un lado al otro. Seguramente muchos de ustedes en algún momento también han experimentado esta sensación justo cuando los días se hacen más largos de lo normal y el cansancio te pesa hasta en tu cabello.
Pero si hay algo que me ha enseñado la vida es justamente que después de una tormenta siempre podemos encontrar la calma. Y los momentos que más atesoro en medio de la tormenta son los que llegan acompañados de eso tan simple pero esencial como lo es mi bebida el café.
No hay nada más barato y sencillo que sentarse con un grupo de amigos y compartir nuestras preocupaciones nuestras tormentas mientras te deleitas con el aroma y el sabor de un delicioso café el cual nos permite abrir un espacio de confianza y coinonía.
Al finalizar esta tormentosa semana no podíamos dejar de cerrar el día viernes con lluvia, esas que te invitan a quedarte en casa, pero que las mismas responsabilidades te empujan a salir de ella. Pero al caer la noche en medio de nuestra cara de cansancio varios amigos decidimos reunirnos después de una larga jornada laboral. Fue algo muy improvisado y sin muchas planificaciones solo nos acompañaron una salsa, unas galletas y un café con leche humeante para hacer un poco más amena nuestra conversación.
Pero no puedo dejar de resaltar lo que ocurrió en medio de nuestro encuentro algo que fue mucho más valioso e impresionante que la presentación del banquete. Allí estábamos todos alrededor de la mesa y cada uno fue abriendo su corazón para dejar drenar sus preocupaciones agotamiento y hasta las emociones contenidas.
En medio de cada anécdota y de nuestro deleite con nuestra bebida nos dimos cuenta de que nuestras cargas no eran tan pesadas como imaginábamos y de hecho que no estábamos caminando solos. Fue tan valioso el resultado cosechado en medio de esa reunión que en ese momento lo sentí un bálsamo para mi vida y el café como siempre un ingrediente perfecto que nos recuerda que debemos apoyarnos unos con otros.
El café siempre tiene esa magia infinita es la compañía idónea es el momento ideal para hacer una pausa nos proporciona el calor en medio del frío y nos da una calma inexplicable en medio de un caos, no es simplemente una bebida, es más allá lo que representa, con ella nos permitimos detenernos bajar el ritmo, ser sabios al escuchar y hasta dejarnos escuchar a nosotros mismos. Por eso hoy querido amigo quiero recordarte que en un mundo donde vivimos con tanta rapidez el café siempre nos regala la excusa perfecta para permitirnos mirar a los ojos de otros y decir estoy aquí contigo.
