JAVA JAGUAR (a webcomic)

Happy Thursday!

Sorry about the Java Jaguar delay... I'll even make up that missed strip from last week soon. I just got back to southern California after taking 3 Spirit Airline flights from Florida across the country yesterday. And I can't draw on the tiny little tray tables on the small Spirit jet's, they aren't big enough for a tablet. Also, there was a lot of turbulence, possibly from that hurricane that attacked Jamaica, no doubt hurting their chances of hosting a winning bobsled team this year. Also, I slept most of the time on all three flights.

Golden Sphinx is doing his villain monologue which is when the heroes should be attempting some sort of ninja plan. But they have elected instead for banter. For those of you that have played the KICKMAN adventure game for PC (yes this is a real thing), this sort of synonym attack was a big part of Kickman and Sidekick Matt's debut superhero fight against Count Mole. So if we are accepting that Barista Matt is Sidekick Matt's origin story, then we can assume that Matt learned not just many parkour and fighting skills from Java, but also his banter and taunt proficiency.

Wait... I'm sorry, what?

I've just been corrected, I called "The Golden Sphinx" just "Golden Sphinx" in a preceding paragraph. My apologies.
