Peace Silver Dollar 2025 Proof Coin

Proof coins are made through a unique process that starts with carefully polished blanks that are placed into presses with special dies and struck multiple times. This results in the crisp, frosted details that are raised above a glossy, mirror-like surface.

The obverse (heads) features Liberty in profile with a radiant crown. Obverse inscriptions are “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRVST,” and the year of issuance.

The reverse (tails) depicts an eagle at rest holding an olive branch above the inscription “PEACE.” Additional inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” and “ONE DOLLAR.”

Both the obverse and reverse of the Peace dollar were designed by Anthony de Francisci, an Italian-American sculptor. It was minted for circulation from 1921 to 1928 and 1934 to 1935, and again for collectors in 2021.

The Peace Dollar is truly a beautiful coin!
