This would be a first for Liz and Silvertop, we were headed to “Cowboy Church” today!🤗
The weather forecast said less than 20% chance of rain……..
Looking towards the Mountains the sky was looking ominous!😅
Liz and Silvertop were Worship leaders for over twenty two years, and all I could see was wet instruments and electronics!🙄
“Liz, what are they going to do if it starts raining?”😮
In typical Northwest fashion, the grandstands started filling up……..
Some people brought rain jackets, other brave souls came in only a t-shirt Like Silvertop Lol!😇
Did I just feel a drop?……..
Worship started without a hitch!
Cowboy Church ran long, but no one seemed to notice!
“Liz, the weather held off for the service, that was awesome!”😍
Afterwords it was Pumpkin hunting season for the Mrs……
Lol, it has begun Lol!🤣
“Silvertop look at THIS Pumpkin, and it’s only $5!”🥰

Back home, we had just enough time for a short hike!
“Liz, it looks like you have a hiking companion for today!”
This is Lily, she is my neighbor Jerry’s dog!
Lily, is a sweetie, she can’t help but follow us on our hikes!😍
Several years ago, she followed me seven miles up to “Towhee Ridge” and then disappeared into the forest!😳
I searched for an hour looking for her, and finally gave up and hiked home alone……
I talked to Jerry several days later………….
“Aw…… Silvertop, don’t worry, Lily came back home….. she does this ALL the time!”😇
Today Lily followed us back to our home……..😮
“Liz, we need to go inside quick, and lock the door behind us, so Lily gets the message and goes home to Jerry!”😊
The last time I tried this, Lily came around to our patio door and stared at me through the window Lol!☺️
“Honey, I think Lily went home, we can stop hiding Lol!”😇🤗
