Hello hivers, an happy Thursday to you all! Cloudy day here and it seems soon it will rain a little. My furry friends Nanny and Bimba are playing in my backyard. The little Bimba is jumping on the branches of my plum tree, while her mom Nanny is sitting under the tree paying attention to her daughter (around 5 months old and full of energy!). 😊
Yesterday I worked on a new handmade print. This time I decided to work on a monoprint created using different materials like a lino block (where I carved a vase) and different kind of paper I used to print the leaves. In the following pic, you can see the final result:
I like the different textures of the leaves in the vase I printed with different kind of paper. Along these days I experimented myself in the collagraph print made using different materials (not just paper, but also tape and everything you can have at home), but I still have to improve my skills so I'm creating some monoprints to understand how different materials work together. As usual, I took some pics while I was working on it so you can see the process too:
