Hello hivers, an happy Friday to you all! Another Friday, another week just around the corner. Yesterday I started to work on a new oil painting on paper inspired by an old beautiful photo by the american photographer (1923 . 1971) Diane Arbus, but I need another day to finish it, so I can't show you a new piece today, sorry. Today I'm here to share with you the new pics I took just few minutes ago when I spent my pause from work walking along the side of the river close to my home. New pics of the squacco heron (Ardeola ralloides) that I use to watch there since just a couple of week:
This squacco seems to be a little shy behind the grass (it's not a big bird, it looks like smaller a common white egret), but I like its shades of brown color on its head and back, while its wings are totally white when it fly.
As you can see its beak became blue (the first time I watched it its beak was brown. It means it started its breeding time. ❤️
I took all the pics you can see here (as usual) with my own camera, a Nikon Coolpix B700.
I wish you a wonderful weekend and see ya tomorrow, Silvia
