Blog#2: Family, Food, and Fun: A Graduation Celebration to Cherish

Hello, Dear Hiver Friends. It is me again, simply.rachel28. Welcome to my blog! Today, I want to share with you one of the special events that our whole family celebrated, which was my brother's graduation day. One of our family traditions is to celebrate victories, birthdays, and any special occasions together, always with God's grace, guidance, and protection. This tradition makes our family closer and happier. We believe that every celebration is a blessing, and we are thankful for it.♥️🙏

Early in the morning of my brother's graduation celebration, my parents, aunts, uncles, brother, and cousins all worked together. They cooked many different dishes, decorated the house with special decorations, and arranged everything, including the tables and food containers. Before we went to my parents' house for the celebration, I made sure to buy some things we needed too. My son was very excited and could not wait to see everyone. When we arrived at my parents' house, my son ran to my brother with happiness and full of excitement when he saw him. My family welcomed us warmly, and I let my son eat first because he had not had breakfast yet. After that, I helped my aunts with the food preparation. Our family loves to talk about our lives, and this is the best way for us to bond. We were all very happy and excited for the celebration. My son played with his uncles and even danced. It was wonderful to watch them enjoy themselves.

At noon, it was time to eat and share the blessings of the food. Visitors came to join us, and we welcomed and entertained them. We were very happy to eat together and enjoy each other's company. After the meal, we did karaoke, which is a usual Filipino tradition. It was really fun, and I can say it was one of the best moments we shared together. When the celebration was about to end, my parents told me to bring home some food, and all the dishes were delicious. I took home some food, and my husband's aunt, who helps me at our house, cooked the roasted pig again. We enjoyed the food together, and it was a lovely way to conclude a beautiful day.

From this special celebration, we always have to put in our hearts and minds that family is very important. When we work together and help each other, we can make happy memories. Celebrating good moments with love and thankfulness brings us closer. Also, sharing food and laughter makes every event more joyful. Most of all, we must remember to be grateful for God’s blessings and protection in our lives. Family traditions like these keep our hearts connected and make life beautiful and meaningful!🙏♥️
