Power of Visual Art

I always believe that there is not better way to reach out to the intended audiences than through a good and well planned artpiece. Human are always more at ease when it comes to things which has intrinsic values. Art has the quality. Therefore, if any market can be replaced with technology, art will be the last because of the human touch. The human touch gives it that special edge.

I help send out messages through my art. In this piece above a little girl that is helping a blind man cross the road is telling the blind man to becareful because the the roads in Kuala Lumpur is usually quite busy.

I personally like my cartoons to have a special meaning. One that helps spread some positivity and the piece above is one piece that I did for the Independence Day.

I do take commissioned work and something when I least expected I will see some of the work that I have done on the streets.

There is this phenomena in Malaysia where mechanics on the move will help motorcyclists that are stranded because of punctured tyres of drained out batteries. Well their intentions are quite dubious because at the place where you least expect you find their advertisement for their services. That is also the same place that you will meet with a flat tyre. I did this with a message,

Do you trust graffiti mechanics?

Then there are the celebrities, which will draw some attention.

My cartoons are also used on everyday issues, such as rising costs of living. One that everyone can relate to....here the old lady is saying how she is going to survive if the price of fossil fuel keeps increasing.

The source of loan sharks. The ones that gives you loan with exorbitant interest rates. Most of them are unlicensed and resort to strong arm tactics when it comes to repayment.

Then there are those who advertise tutoring services by placing their advert on trees. Unfortunately I didnt know @perennial used to do that to help with his college expenses...I guess maybe it work for some people.
