As March 2025 comes to an end, I'm back to participate in #BeerSaturday for [week 403](https://peakd.com/hive-187719/@detlev/beersaturday-403). This is week 403 of #BeerSaturday and I'd like to invite @alegnairam to write a post in any language (English would be great, or bilingual), about beer, with at least 3 images (her own).

As you may have noticed, I've been absent from my blog for three weeks. This absence, you could say, is involuntary, as I'm currently going through a very unpleasant criminal or judicial process, which causes me great discomfort, and also takes up some of my time and resources. I won't go into details; all I'll say is this: The smart one fucks, until the idiot allows it. Never forget that saying and apply it constantly in your lives. Never let yourself be humiliated.

> Como se habrán dado cuenta, he estado ausente de mi blog por tres semanas. Esta ausencia podría decirse es involuntaria, ya que actualmente estoy atravesando un proceso penal o judicial que es muy desagradable, que me genera gran incomodidad, y además ocupa parte de mi tiempo y recursos. No daré detalles al respecto, lo único que diré es lo siguiente: **El vivo jode, hasta que el pendejo quiere**, nunca olviden ese refrán y aplíquenlo constantemente en sus vidas. No se dejen vulnerar jamás.

Just like in previous weeks, the heat here has been constant and scorching. On top of that, there are days when I come home feeling very stressed. Nothing beats a good beer to take the heat off and the heaviness away, to shake off the disgust that the situation I'm living in produces in me. Yesterday was one of those days. I came home and my husband had bought several cans of a Venezuelan beer I hadn't had in a long time. It's Solera, in its Classic version (there are several versions of this brand). So I opened one, poured it into a glass, and drank it all in one go. It was super refreshing and very pleasant. But since there were several cans in the fridge, today I had another one and documented it, so I can invite you all to get to know this delicious beer.

> Al igual que en semanas previas, el calor aquí ha sido constante, abrasador y, adicionalmente, hay días en las que llego muy estresada a mi casa, y nada mejor que una buena cerveza para quitar el calor y la pesadez, para sacudirme ese asco que me produce la situación que estoy viviendo. Y ayer fue uno de esos días, así que llegué a casa y mi esposo había comprado varias latas de una cerveza venezolana, que yo tenía mucho tiempo sin beber, y esta es SOLERA, en su versión Classic, (hay varias versiones de esta marca). Así que destapé una, la serví en un vaso y me la bebí de una vez, fue súper refrescante, muy agradable. Pero como habían varias latas en la nevera, hoy tomé otra y la documenté, por lo que puedo invitarles a conocer esta deliciosa cerveza.

The can is unusual, with a certain sobriety. It's a small can with a white background, emerald green shapes, mostly gold lettering, and some black. The front of the can has a gold-rimmed oval, half green, the name of the beer SOLERA in black letters, and at the bottom of the oval is the word CLASSIC, which indicates the type of solera, and the logo of Cervecería POLAR, which makes Solera.

> La lata es curiosa, con cierta sobriedad. Es una lata pequeña, con fondo blanco, formas de color verde esmeralda, letras doradas en su mayoría, y algunas negras. El frente de la lata tiene un óvalo con borde dorado, la mitad verde, el nombre de la cerveza SOLERA en letras negras, y en la parte inferior del mismo, está la palabra CLASSIC, que indica qué tipo de solera es, y el logotipo de Cervecería POLAR, que es la que fabrica la Solera.

Below the oval there is information in gold letters, indicating the alcohol content of this SOLERA, the net content, which is 250 ml, plus the registration number, and the call “ENJOY RESPONSIBLY”.

> Debajo del óvalo hay una información en letras doradas, que indica el grado alcohólico de esta SOLERA, el contenido neto, que es 250 ml, más el número de registro, y el llamado “DISFRUTA CON RESPONSABILIDAD”.

On the side of this can of SOLERA, you can read information about where it is manufactured (here in Venezuela), the permit number granted by the health authorities, as well as the ingredients: Water, malted barley, cereals, hops and stabilizers.

> Por un costado de esta lata de SOLERA, se puede leer la información relativa a dónde es fabricada, (aquí, en Venezuela), el número de la permisología otorgada por las autoridades sanitarias, así como los ingredientes: Agua, cebada malteada, cereales, lúpulo y estabilizantes.

Now comes the good part: enjoying this SOLERA. As always, I clean the can, even though I rarely drink directly from it, but it still needs to be cleaned. When you open it, that beautiful foam appears, which precedes a refreshing and delicious drink. Its aroma is delicate, not overpowering or strong.

> Ahora viene lo bueno: Disfrutar de esta SOLERA. Como siempre, limpio la lata, aún cuando muy rara vez bebo directamente de ella, pero igualmente, es necesario limpiarla. Al abrirla se asoma esa hermosa espuma, que antecede a una bebida refrescante y deliciosa. Su olor es delicado, no es tan invasivo o fuerte.

When served, it has a beautiful light golden color, with a foamy foam cap. Being a small beer (250 ml), its contents fit completely into the Polar beer glass. Upon tasting, it's a gentle, delicious beer, perfect for a refreshing drink. According to my review, it's a Munich Helles-style beer, fermented in a lager. I serve it with an antique coaster from the same brand: SOLERA.

>Al servirla, tiene un hermoso color dorado claro, con su respectivo tope de espuma. Siendo una cerveza pequeña (250 ml), su contenido cabe completo en el vaso cervecero de Polar. Al probarla es una cerveza gentil, deliciosa, muy apropiada para refrescarse. Según revisé, es una cerveza tipo Munich Helles, cuya fermentación es Lager. La sirvo con un portavasos antiguo, de la misma marca: SOLERA.

Like the previous can, I drank this one very quickly because I was feeling very hot. It's a beer I really like, and while I haven't had it in a while, it's now back on my radar.

> Al igual que la lata anterior, esta me la bebí muy rápidamente, pues yo tenía mucho calor. Es una cerveza que me gusta mucho, y que si bien tenía mucho tiempo sin beberla, la tengo nuevamente en la mira.
