Hello!
In July and August I went on a trip to England and have a lot to share with you. Today I was editing the Kew Garden pictures, so this is where I will start blogging. :)
Kew Gardens is GREAT! In 2019 I visited with my siblings and we saw the garden with a Chihuly exhibit. That was a treat.
I was so happy to be going back! Join me for a look at the Royal Botanic Garden, Kew through my lens (Nikon and Google Pixel).
Mediterranean garden
This time I took a Thai Chi class and then wandered at my own pace, which was very slow do to plantar fasciitis.
Here is our view of the Mediterranean garden as we did Thai Chi. I was so excited to find a Thai Chi class at Kew as I have been doing Thai Chi at the Desert Botanical Garden in Arizona.
Rose Garden
The rose garden was beautiful. I really like when I find a rose that smells so delicious. The orange ones where usually the best smelling, to me.

Of the Oak
This is an immersive interactive installation that is set up next to a 265 year old oak tree. The digital display shows the growth cycles of the oak both above and below ground.

The land train
I am grateful for the land train that gives you a tour of this very big garden (121 hectares (300 acres)), it is well worth the 6.50 pounds!

Stop
I got off on one of the stops and saw this table that seats 24 people and a fox that looked at me and walked right past. Next time, I want to climb to the top of the pagoda and walk around the Japanese Garden.

The Waterlily house
This building was completed in 1852. It was beautiful and hot and crowded. Some of the lily pads were so huge!

In addition to the waterlily house there were some water lilies in containers in the temperate house. These were great. First, it inspired me to maybe grow some water lilies in a pot. How cool would that be? Second, I could get a lot closer to these water lilies.

The Temperate House
At 628ft long the Temperate House is the largest surviving Victorian glasshouse in the world, twice the size of the Palm House,
The Palm House
The Palm House is a beautiful glass building that has immaculate landscaping around it and a lake in front.

If you are in London I highly recommend Kew Gardens! It is about an hour outside of London via the train and well worth the time.
