Sjennon sees India - A day in Mumbai

A spontaneous trip (literally planned a week before) ended up in an amazing stay in Mumbai. Check it out!

Gateway Of India Mumbai

With free entry, everything gets a bit better. The gateway is huge, engraved with text and surrounded by both native and foreign tourists. It is something to see while you're here anyway. Stumbling upon street sellers trying to sell you selfie sticks and balloons is not uncommon in India and also at the Gateway of India these sellers try their luck.

Bayview Cafe

Got this place recommended by a friend and definitely worth a visit for the view. Prices are quite expensive but j guess that's what you'd pay in a more touristic location and area. The food was tasty and the service was friendly. A great place just to sit outside and enjoy a beer.

The Bar Stock Exchange

I love the concept of this bar - it's like stocks. When drinks are high in demand, the price goes down and Visa versa. I'm pretty sure in the end it's all just fake and phantom but let us just get fooled for the sake of entertainment. In the end, prices were ok and you think you have some influence on it which keeps you interested. You get an iPad from which you can order and the drinks will arrive shortly after. At the time we visited, they were playing Bollywood music which was totally up my alley. We left the bar nicely tipsy and will definitely visit again!
