I wanted this series to feel like time had slowed down — as if the viewer had stepped into a moment stretched just enough to notice what usually slips past. I was drawn to the contrast between feminine softness and a harsher, almost cinematic environment. It was meant to feel like a scene from a film — only without a script.
The light, the shadows, the cigarette, the slight defiance in her gaze — I wanted the viewer to sense not a story, but a tone. Something suggestive rather than explicit. A mood that’s a bit distant, a bit provocative, and quietly self-possessed.
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge
