Is there a Need/want for a Hive meet up?
I'm a rather 'introverted' person in RL, but after a recent holiday, I realise maybe it's better to 'get out there', live your life to the fullest and grab hold of every and any opportunity.
I'm forever seeing YouTube videos/social media influencers saying 'you get the life you want'. Simply focusing on your goals and each step will lead you closer to them.
I don't have many 'hobbies' that get me into the RL and connecting with people, I spend too much time on my laptop or gaming... Could we use Hive's real social purpose to expand our reach, open new avenues, and build lasting friendships?
Is there anyone in the UK interested in doing meet-ups? Could we turn them into weekly/monthly events across the nation, bringing people together, ideally expanding them to more 'community groups' and onboarding new Hivians? It's all fun and games meeting with other Hivians, but could we expand it to onboard new users too?
Anyone interested? Should we put a preliminary date out there and see if there is interest? Ideally, I'd want to do it sooner than later, before this new found energy and confidence fades and i fall back into the sloth introvert life!
Pub/coffee shop near Edinburgh/Glasgow/Fife this weekend? Any takers?
