A quiet morning spent cycling.
I remember this neighborhood being quite memorable for me, because back in elementary school, my friends and I often came here to play soccer. We were all girls and had no talent for soccer, but we loved hanging out on the field in this neighborhood. Fast forward to almost 20 years later now, I just realized how much I love the atmosphere here.
This is actually a residential area that I once thought was full of wealthy families. But now, I see it differently–the atmosphere has transformed into a relaxing route, perfect for cycling. So, the other day, I went cycling around this area in the morning. This neighborhood isn’t far from my house, so it didn’t take long to get there.
Cycling in this area just feels so peaceful. Some of the houses look quite old, which adds a nostalgic atmosphere. Some houses also have front yards filled with plants or even a pretty big tree, which makes it look shady and provide a sense of serenity. Even if I compare it to my neighborhood, this one feels quieter, despite there’s an elementary school located in one of the alleys.
One of my favorite things about wandering around here is seeing the houses with so many flowers growing in their front yards. I wish I could capture it better, because it looks even prettier in real life. I’ve never dreamt of a big house; instead I really want a house with a small garden. But personally, I doubt I have the patience to take care of my own plants until they grow bigger.
A slow and calm morning like this is probably one of the things I need the most to set the mood for the rest of my day. I hope I can be consistent again with cycling every few days, because it always feels good afterward. Oh, and I always forget to take a picture of my bike every time I cycling, so next time I’ll be better at remembering it😁
