The release of HF20 this week was pretty disruptive. Many users couldn’t Do anything on the blockchain, not even upvoting their favourite authors.
With the release of this new version of the Steem blockchain was introduced the concept of Resource Credits and Voting Mana which are to respectively replace bandwidth and Vote Power.
Everyone RC and Mana was reset to 0 and it take a five days to fully replenish your manabar. This is the reason why many upvote services are currently “sleeping” in order to regain full voting strength.
But @smartvote does not like sleeping if it does not need to. This is why, we have decided to help our members during this difficult period by temporarily switching everyone to a “daily payout” mode and air expenses on ourselves.
On Sunday, we will resume normal operations when our Mana is back up high enough.
