Hello everyone!
Budapest will never get boring. Do you match me? I think you will agree as soon as you start reading again about that amazing city. Although there are many historical sights, they are interesting, and they have a very interesting story. But it's time to move on to something relaxing, like a park. You will see it is amazing, all around is greenery, clean air, people smiling, and dogs run all over. It's like we're in Wonderland.

As soon as I entered the park, I immediately saw the playground for children. It was not usually a playground, such playgrounds do not exist in the place where I live, so this was completely new to me. The playground was without swings, seesaws and other everyday things found on the playground. This was a lot of trampoline, but not ordinary, already the trampolines were made of more stretchable ropes, there was also a mini-labyrinth made of the same ropes, there was a zip line and the other things I don't know what they were called. Unfortunately, I didn't take photos, so that will remain a mystery until you go and see it in person.

Of course, like every park, there were machines for street workout. Of course, this is not an ordinary park, there was a mini football court, basketball, volleyball and tennis. I may have left something out, but you won't mind: D

### Interesting structure around the park
After passing through the dog park, a promenade and enjoying the pure air, we come to the most interesting part in this park. First, I was wondering what this was, and after I found out it was a museum, I was confused even more. Looks powerful, I could go upstairs all day. At least I thought, until I saw what time you need to take to go to the top, it's teasing, but it's worth it. When you are on top of the top, you can see the whole park, and you can see half of Budapest. I didn't know it was so high. I guess the illusion is created lower than it is, because it is in a ramp shape.

### Memorial to the 1956 Revolution
The revolution began on October 19, 1956. as a student protest in Budapest, but soon turned into a wider folk rise against Soviet domination and communist repression. Thousands of citizens, from workers to intellectuals, from teenagers to retirees, went to the streets seeking freedom of speech, multi-party system, and the end of the foreign control.
The days of hope were short-lived. Soviet tanks brutally suffocated the rebellion in November. More than 2,500 Hungarians lost their lives, tens of thousands were wounded, and about 200,000 people escaped the country. But what it started then was never forgotten.

The design of the monument itself carries a deep symbolism, 56 steel poles, which start as a resulting mass, and then gradually compact into strong formation, represent the gathering of the people in the fight for freedom. From a distance, the form of a monument resembles a spike that breaks out of the ground, as a protest inside.
The main attraction among tourists, and I had to do it. I was dragging between the steel structure, and all I went further, these steel pillars were closer to each other. Like the students who united themselves, and then raised the whole country and united everyone.

In today's world, where history is increasingly used as a political tool, such memorials remind us of the essence. Freedom has a price. Freedom is not given, it is sought, stored and transmitted. Memorial is not just a place for tourists and protocol features. He is a place of learning where future generations would know that the struggle for justice, as short as it lasted, was never in vain.

### Rest area
After the walk and the tour of the park, we encountered an interesting cafe. The music first attracted us, which was not in a Hungarian style, but the songs were in English. The man who sang had a soothing voice which matched the environment. When we entered the bar garden, a surprise was waiting for us. It was a mini zoo with a bunny. Were too sweet and cheerful. They like to be pet, and people like to pet them, it was a real attraction.

The interior of the café was the next destination that surprised us. Inside, it was also in the style of nature, everything was green, the color that calms. There was also a small corner for children, with a board, chalk, felt-tip pen and colouring books. The cafe was a full hit for rest, and the squeezed juice was phenomenal: D

We visited the park on the last day of our trip to Budapest. It was interesting to us. We learned and saw new things. We breathed fresh air, which sounds a little weird when you visit the capital and inhale clean air. I'm not used to it, I guess I'm living in Serbia, where it's the most polluted air on the planet, it felt good to clear my lungs. I recommend visiting what I visited. There is a lot of historical stuff I have written about in previous blogs. I learned a lot from visiting, and even more from writing about it.

I hope you enjoyed reading and looking at the photos. I enjoyed making this blog, I hope you did too. Until next time, "Regards!"
