Monaco race track

Hello everyone!

The Côte d'Azur is one of the most beautiful places I've visited recently. And as a racing fan, Monte Carlo impressed me the most. Not only because of the splendor, the bourgeoisie and luxury, but because of one special event. When the formulae come, the whole city turns into a racing stadium, and the people who live there, their homes turn into stands. They are enjoying the moment and the sound of the formulae. I would love to go and watch F1 live. I was one day away from fulfilling my wish. Well... my wish was partially fulfilled, I stood on that track, walked and inhaled the smell of gasoline, worn tires and clutches that were still felt in the air. ![20250325_135.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmXMFiudr9o6PJ7b8tgyFomDo6i3ENeWSHBriy6GKfD4bv/20250325_135.jpg) ![20250325_135826.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmYgdpoyijCq6s8sphvWKZbriFkSsbM3E6kPhAjd1GvFK5/20250325_135826.jpg) Back in 1929, when the world was just learning to drive fast, Monaco had a vision. The first Grand Prix was held then, thanks to the enthusiasm of Anthony Noghès, a man who wanted to prove that Monaco, although small, could be a big stage. The street race through the city, over the arch, under the hotel and through curves that look more like a maze than a track, immediately won the hearts of the audience and the drivers. Since then, with shorter breaks, Monaco has hosted one of the most legendary races in the F1 calendar. ![20250325_135834.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmRhpuAmtE7kHHa9eKMP51fjzFAxCdsyFmfVzr9uidLJ6i/20250325_135834.jpg) ![20250325_135845.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmeBySTJp52LDbxbe1EYS3Nizv4zmTMoRYCuqP3iyKbwUV/20250325_135845.jpg) One of the special features of Monte Carlo is that the track is not a classic racing complex. She is a city. Every day, once a year, the fastest cars in the world pass through the streets where people go to work, drive scooters and drink coffee in the shade of palm trees. During those days, the city stops breathing like an ordinary city. It becomes a stage. Although new technologies and safety innovations are sought every year, the track in Monaco stays almost the same. Its narrow streets, sharp curves and tunnel, unique in the F1 world, represent a time machine into racing as it once was, raw, technically demanding, and brutally honest. ![20250325_13584.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmXa3D2G1zhNx4651DARzKFUrNvaSs95m3j2S794dNUK5p/20250325_13584.jpg) Drivers often say that winning in Monaco means "sneaking into history". This track does not forgive mistakes. Any mistake here ends in a barrier. Every victory is a work of art of precision, patience and courage. The greats like Ayrton Senna, who celebrated here as many as six times, Graham Hill, known as "Mr. Monaco", and recently Lewis Hamilton, all of them knew that winning in Monaco means leaving a mark that lasts forever. ![20250325_140703.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmZ1bCyQ8tACyJs3XN4EqYq2LePxQRQoYe1T34u7NBfUX5/20250325_140703.jpg) ![20250325_135840.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQma8QS1NNSz1Lq1Dv6QeceduNvryt9utPFrvucBxfHewDU/20250325_135840.jpg) The Monaco Grand Prix is not just a sporting event. It is a social spectacle. As the cars race through the streets, movie stars, royal families, and the world's jet set watch them from luxury yachts in the harbor. But behind all that external glitter, there is a deep emotion. Every circle, every bend, carries with it a piece of history. There, between the Rascasse bend and Casino Square, you can feel the spirit of the past, the squeal of tires and the echo of the engine through the tunnel that makes even the hearts of the spectators tremble.
