What, a pool, a legacy of the king? Curiosity made me want to come when I found out there was a bath with natural water.
Everything that carries the term of the past, or the glorious era of the kingdom must have its own appeal. Including making me interested in coming to this place.
It was perfect when the weekend arrived so I took my family to this bathing pool. It is called umbul in this area to refer to the bathing pool.
UMBUL TIRTO MULYO. A bathing pool with natural springs that has existed since the time of the king and has a belief that soaking in this pool can cure various diseases.
UMBUL TIRTO MULYO will remind you of Balinese designs. Because in my opinion, the Java and Bali regions have many similarities regarding holy places because they adhere to the same religion in the past before the arrival of Islam on the island of Java.
UMBUL TIRTO MULYO is located in a small town but don't worry because it can be accessed by car or travel car to bring foreign tourists.
At the entrance I paid an entrance fee of IDR 5000 Rupiah. There was a sturdy door like a royal gate as the entrance area.
There were two guardian statues I saw on the left and right sides of the entrance.
Then there was a sign of the name of the King "Paku X (PB X)" on the upper left side which indicated that the king did indeed own this place.
The typical red brick style of the past was very clear since I saw it from outside the bathing pool area.
I continued into the bathing pool area. It felt magical, classic, and indeed felt like a royal place.
It really caught my eye when the sunlight made the water in the bathing pool a beautiful green color. Waves were created on the surface of the water.
Indeed, there is a good filtration system to keep the water in this pool clean and clear.
The pool guard said that this bathing pool had indeed existed since the time of the king since the 1800s but the exact year could not be ascertained. Then many visitors believe that the pool water is a means of healing both physically and mentally, it's just that it is adjusted to each person's beliefs.
How clear the pool water is! Look we can see rocks and sand in the pool. There are also big fish in the bathing pool.
The depth of the pool starts from 1.5 to 2 meters so I only reach the edge of the pool. On the edge of the pool is made of iron and a stepping floor so that the edge of the pool is not too deep and I can still reach it for me who is not good at swimming.
The people who swim here are quite crowded and it's exciting for me I can get new friends from various regions.
There is a big tree wrapped in black and white cloth as well as something familiar in Bali such as for balance matters related to the magical world.
Then there is a veranda or a small hut that feels like a king that I often watch on television.
For visitors who bring children, don't worry because next to the main bathing pool, a special children's pool is made with an exciting waterboom play area.
UMBUL TIRTO MULYO is not just a bathing pool with natural springs but also holds the history of the past kings that deserve to be maintained especially for cleanliness.
