May has arrived with its rainy days and overcast skies, refreshing a little the hot atmosphere, it's true, and making the vegetation revive, but being me a person who prefers sunny days, this kind of weather discourages me a little.
Mayo ha llegado con sus días de lluvia y cielos encapotados, refrescando un poco el ambiente caluroso, es verdad, y haciendo que la vegetación se reanime, pero siendo yo una persona que prefiere los días soleados, este tipo de clima me desanima un poco.
On cloudy days I like to listen to dramatic music 😆, and observing the landscape when I took these photos that I share, I remembered a Latin American rock song that fits perfectly with that mood, it's called “Gray”:

En los días nublados me da por escuchar música dramática 😆, y observando el paisaje cuando hice estas fotos que comparto, me acordé de una canción de rock latinoamericano que encaja perfectamente con ese estado de ánimo, se llama “Gris”:

This song is by a Uruguayan band from the late 90's called Loop Lascano, and I discovered it by chance several years ago, while watching videos on youtube. The lyrics and melody seemed so good to me, so powerful, that it stuck forever in my head. Click here to listen to it and let me know what you think 😉.
Esta canción es de un grupo uruguayo de finales de los 90 llamado Loop Lascano, y lo descubrí por casualidad hace varios años, mientras veía videos en youtube. The weather affects us all in different ways, to me, as the song says, “when the sky turns gray”, it makes me want to shout the same: “I want to escape!”... to some sunny place with a beach, palm trees and a cocada (creamy coconut drink), and you?
El tiempo nos afecta a todos de diferentes maneras, a mí, como dice la canción, “cuando el cielo se torna gris”, me dan ganas de gritar lo mismo: “¡quiero escapar!”... a algún lugar soleado con playa, palmeras y una cocada, ¿y ustedes?
