Finding dead trees in public places such as squares and streets is something that catches my attention. I wonder why they haven't been removed, and what is so pleasant about seeing dry, or worse, mutilated trunks in an urban landscape?

Perhaps in a square where everything is green it is not so noticeable, but I took these first photos I'm sharing with you just because, among many leafy branches, several dry trunks also stood out there.

I thought, could these be historic or heritage trees, which is why they can't be removed? But no, that's not the case. It must simply be that it's too much work to remove them from there; they may have deep roots, and they prefer to integrate them into the landscape in some way.

The thing is, the trunks of these trees are different sizes. I guess when the city government ordered them to be cut down, they didn't plan on turning the remains into art.

When we see a mutilated and dry tree, the most logical thing is to think that its life has come to an end, but sometimes its fate can be different; sometimes there is life after death.
