I was not hundred percent sure if I should really make that long travel to hivefest X, but knowing who else will attend, it was a must. So a terribly jet-lagged @solarwarrior arrived at the fabulous Journal hotel in Kuala Lumpur and was already welcomed by the @worldmappin team having dinner just over the street at the default Indian go to restaurant. Kick-start party mode with no place to hide.
The Journal hotel was a very fine place to stay and all the staff were more then friendly, at some later point of time they kind of blended into the hive family.

Organized to perfection by @roelandp again, he not only kept the level of quality of the whole event very high, he also made the next leap by extending the event by opening it to outsiders (but for sure blockchain insiders) for the second day by establishing the event and brand of @chainculture. I am pretty sure the hive community made quite some impression onto the attending Kuala Lumpur blockchain elite - let's hope that this seed will launch a prosperous Kuala Lumpur hive community.

But most impressive - as every year - was the possibility to listen and discuss with the hive residential VIPs @blocktrades @alpha @gandalf @arcange @lordbutterfly @starkerz @crimsonclad @stoodkev and @vaultec the current situation and future of this very special blockchain. A big thank you to those that hat to endure my never ending stream of questions (those who know know ;-) ).

I also was able to discuss the @solarisfuture project with quite a few participants and got valuable feedback.
So I leave this event - again - not only with memories of a super great and enjoy-full time, but also with a reloaded (roela-oaded?) hive battery, ready for the next conferences, projects and speeches to be given.

Besides all the hive related stuff, I was amazed by the bristling mega city of Kuala Lumpur - truly a city that never sleeps (what we hiveans due to constant small scale Diwali fireworks also did not ;-) ) and the friendliness of the Malaysian people.

Thank you @roelandp once again for making this happen! Looking forward to next hivefest XI - will definitely be there!
