These are the infamous #SandhillCranes that funnel through a very narrow stretch of the #PlatteRiver in central #Nebraska each Spring during their #migration North. For some reason this area is a bottleneck for them before fanning back out to continue their journey. It's a huge spectacle each year in the state. People flock here (pun intended) from all over the world to witness it.

I've had the pleasure to catch them the last few years and am looking forward to greeting them this Spring as well.
