Hola chicos de Hive y especialmente a quienes hacen vida en la comunidad de **CELF Magazine** ¿Como estaaaan? Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una experiencia muy linda que tuve hace unos días y se trata de un Rally Fotográfico en el que participe y se llevó a cabo en la ciudad de Coro, estado Falcón, donde vivo actualmente.
El motivo del Rally fue el de celebrar el aniversario tanto de la ciudad de Coro, que estuvo cumpliendo 495 años, como de la Universidad Francisco de Miranda (45 años) donde realicé mi carrera universitaria . Fue una actividad llevada a cabo por el programa de Artes audiovisuales de la Universidad. “El propósito es fomentar la fotografía documental, artística y lúdica para el registro y divulgación visual de los elementos representativos de la Corianidad” Así dijo el profesor Abraham Moreno quien es el jefe de departamento de esta carrera. Además también tenía como propósito homenajear de forma post mortem al profesor **Fernando Acosta**, quien fue un reconocido fotógrafo del estado.
Hello Hive guys and especially to those who make life in the community of **CELF Magazine** How are you? Today I want to share with you a very nice experience I had a few days ago and it is about a Photo Rally in which I participated and which took place in the city of Coro, Falcon state, where I currently live.
The reason for the Rally was to celebrate the anniversary of both the city of Coro, which was celebrating its 495th anniversary, and the Francisco de Miranda University (45 years) where I did my university studies. It was an activity carried out by the Audiovisual Arts program of the University. "The purpose is to promote documentary, artistic and playful photography for the registration and visual dissemination of the representative elements of the Corianidad" So said Professor Abraham Moreno who is the department head of this career. In addition it was also intended to pay tribute in a post mortem way to Professor **Fernando Acosta**, who was a renowned photographer of the state.

Me enteré de esta actividad a través de un estado de WhatsApp, no lo pensé mucho y fui a llenar el formulario, lo siguiente era ir el día viernes a la actividad. Tenía ciertas expectativas, sobre todo porque en estas actividades siempre conozco a gente talentosísima, además de que es supremamente divertido tomar fotos en grupo. Particularmente estaba muy atenta a los demás, no tanto de sus fotos sino su comportamiento hacia las actividades que nos mandaba a hacer, me pareció muy interesante cómo se comportan los fotógrafos, sobre todo ante un reto de este tipo . Pero no solo eso, también estuve buen rato conversando con unos conociendo a otros y también compartiendo nuestros puntos de vista y perspectivas, es decir: aprendiendo.
I found out about this activity through a whatsapp status, I did not think much and went to fill out the form, the next thing was to go on Friday to the activity. I had certain expectations, especially because in these activities I always meet very talented people and it's great fun to take pictures in a group. I was particularly attentive to the others, not so much to their photos but to their behavior towards the activities I sent us to do, I found it very interesting how photographers behave, especially when faced with a challenge of this kind. But not only that, I also spent a long time talking with some of them, getting to know others and also sharing our points of view and perspectives, that is to say: learning.

##### Rally Fotográfico “Coro en un clic” - Photographic Rally "Coro in a click".
La dinámica de la actividad era asi: Ibamos a ir varias “estaciones” que eran algunos de los elementos más representativos del Casco histórico en donde un guía nos habló acerca su historia para familiarizarnos y luego alguno de los encargados del reto nos iban a ir indicando cuál iba a ser la temática de la foto en esa estación. Fueron 6 estaciones y en cada una tuvimos oportunidad de conocer y reconocer un poco más del patrimonio de la ciudad, abrir la imaginación con el reto y poner a prueba la agilidad.
The dynamics of the activity was like this: We were going to go to several "stations" which were some of the most representative elements of the historic center where a guide told us about its history to familiarize us and then one of the people in charge of the challenge was going to tell us what was going to be the theme of the photo in that station. There were 6 stations and in each one we had the opportunity to get to know and recognize a little more of the city's heritage, open our imagination with the challenge and test our agility.

##### 1era estacion: Cruz e iglesia San Clemente /1st station: San Clemente Cross and Church.

La temática era **“geometría”** Luego de que hice las fotos note otras tantas formas que quizá hubiesen quedado mejor, sin embargo creo que aquí solo le atiné a la temática con una foto y no fue la que envié a concursar hahaha
Yo falle en varias cositas: Como uso la cámara en manual completamente en muchas tomas no enfoque bien, sin embargo no me preocupo por eso ya que me estoy obligando a aprender el manual completamente (no lo domino del todo, aún). Además de que le había cambiado el formado a la cámara de RAW a JPG por unas pruebas que estaba haciendo anteriormente y bueno, digamos que eso no es lo más óptimo para este tipo de actividades.
The theme was **"geometry"** After I took the photos I noticed many other shapes that maybe would have been better, however I think I only hit the theme with one photo and it was not the one I sent to compete hahaha.
I failed in several little things: As I use the camera in full manual mode in many shots I didn't focus well, however I don't worry about that as I'm forcing myself to learn the manual mode completely (I haven't mastered it yet). Besides I had changed the camera format from RAW to JPG for some tests I was doing before and well, let's say that is not the best for this kind of activities.

En la segunda estación, nos mandaron fotografiar la **"Fachada"**. Yo sinceramente tengo un montón de fotos de esta iglesia, es de lo más popular y representativo de la ciudad. Así que decidí hacer una foto desde una perspectiva diferente a la común.
In the second station, we were asked to photograph the **"facade"**. I honestly have a lot of photos of this church, it is one of the most popular and representative of the city. So I decided to take a picture from a different perspective.

En esta estación realmente no recuerdo cuál fue la temática 🤣 veo mis fotos y no sé, tal vez era libre. lo que sé es que me llamó muchísimo la atención la textura de algunas paredes y creo que simplemente tome fotos de lo que me atrajo (mal hecho) en este museo curiosamente y en todos los años que llevo aquí no había entrado.
In this station I really don't remember what the theme was 🤣 I see my photos and I don't know, maybe it was free. what I know is that it called my attention a lot the texture of some walls and I think I just took photos of what attracted me (badly done) in this museum curiously and in all the years I've been here I had not entered.

##### 4ta estación: Casa de las ventanas de Hierro/4th station: House of the Iron Windows.

Aquí la temática fue **“ventanas y sombras”** Ya para esta etapa estaba muy cansada. de hecho me atrase hidratándome, la verdad es que hacía tantísimo calor… Bueno, la cuestión es que intente hacer una foto tipo “ventana dentro de la ventana” No se si se entendió, pero esa fue mi idea, no quede del todo feliz y justo ahora creo que no fue esa la que envié a la competencia, sino la segunda que la muestro aquí. jajaja!
Here the theme was **"windows and shadows"** I was already very tired for this stage, in fact I was late hydrating myself, the truth is that it was so hot... Well, the point is that I tried to make a photo type "window inside the window" I do not know if you understood, but that was my idea, I was not entirely happy and just now I think it was not the one I sent to the competition, but the second one that I show here. hahaha!

En parte del recorrido estuvimos acompañados de los famosos *“Cucuruchos”* de la Vela de Coro, quienes formaron parte de la actividad y se dejaron fotografiar al final junto a los integrantes del *Colectivo de Arte entre locos de la Vela de Coro.*
In part of the tour we were accompanied by the famous *"Cucuruchos"* of the Vela de Coro, who were part of the activity and were photographed at the end with the members of the *Colectivo de Arte entre locos de la Vela de Coro.*

##### 5ta estación: Museo Guadalupano (casa del Tesoro)/5th station: Museo Guadalupano (house of the Treasure)

En esta estación y por ser un museo de carácter religioso la temática era esa **“Religión”** Aquí considero que me falto muchísima creatividad, sin embargo trate de tomar fotos a todo lo que sentí que los demás no fotografiaban. En esta parte del trayecto si que no estuve muy atenta a lo que decía el guía, pero si estuve yendo con el grupo a todo el recorrido.
At this station and for being a religious museum the theme was **"Religion"** Here I consider that I lacked a lot of creativity, however I tried to take pictures of everything that I felt that others did not photograph. In this part of the journey I was not very attentive to what the guide was saying, but I was going with the group throughout the tour.

En la última estación la temática fue libre. Los protagonistas eran los Cucuruchos (mencionados anteriormente) y los chicos del Colectivo “Entre locos” Quienes posaron para nosotros su arte corporal, sin embargo en esta estación solo le tome fotos a estos últimos.
In the last station the theme was free. The protagonists were the Cucuruchos (mentioned above) and the boys of the Collective "Entre locos" who posed for us their body art, however at this station I only took pictures of the latter.

# Termino el recorrido/ I finish the tour
Ya para este momento todos estábamos compartiendo nuestra experiencia, nos hicieron algunas fotos grupales y luego fuimos entregando nuestras fotografías a concursar.
By this time we were all sharing our experience, we took some group pictures and then we were handing in our pictures to compete.

En definitiva mi experiencia fue buenísima, me gustaría que realizarán más eventos con esta temática de forma seguida. Quedé con algunos para salir eventualmente a tomar fotos. logré ver el trabajo de varios y todo lo que vi fue maravilloso, salieron postales hermosas de la actividad. Aún no dan los resultados de quienes ganaron pero se que ganara el mejor!
All in all my experience was great, I would like to have more events with this theme in a regular basis. I was able to see the work of several of them and everything I saw was wonderful, beautiful postcards of the activity. They still don't give the results of who won but I know that the best one will win!
