Hello guys!
I took a few days off again. This time it was quite serious because my mom suddenly got sick and we all thought it was just a common cold but that was not the case but the doctor figured out the issue so she is fine now. Last few days we were busy taking her to the hospital ER multiple times at night because the fever got worse at night. She is almost fully recovered now so my mood is back as well to draw something hehe.
This time I'm using Tiderox. I haven't touched this one for a while because I did a Collab with deddywox so I decided to draw it again after a while which is today. The idea was to draw him in a top angle view swimming at night so that I could use the glow to my advantage by making him look majestic hehe. Even though it's night time I did add some highlights on top of him assuming the moon is still there providing a good amount of light from top so the secondary light is made by the ripples like the bioluminescence effect you see on water when there is movement. After that the colours were tuned slightly to blend the body to the atmosphere. Some lineart was blended into the painting because of this. I felt like the background was a bit empty so I decided to add tree leaves around the edge of the canvas to create a nice contrast to the lighting. This is how it turned out in the end :)
