Been a while

Hello gamers and game lovers,

Welcome to my blog where I love to talk about the games I play and my experience while playing them.

Today during my break from work, I decided it's been a while since I played Clash of Clans or even opened the game. I have lost track of my progress for a couple of days before I even went on a break from playing games.

Upon opening the game, I had to install an updated version of the game which took a few seconds. Then after the download, my village was all messy.

Whenever you leave the game for a while, lots of gems pile up in your village underneath trees, and wood. You have to remove them, then you get the gems underneath.

From the image, I did that for a lot of trees and wood. If you look closely you will see that I have a lot of trees in my village. Take a look at this image below:

Then I moved on to claim my outstanding rewards. There were many as I haven't been claiming them for a while. Army boost for my soldiers, clan protection for the entire village, spells to use in battle, elixirs, and coins that I haven't claimed in a while.

I even got a reward for sticking in the same league which I found funny. I didn't move up the ladder, just stayed in the same place and I still got a reward for that.

I ran out of elixirs after removing a shit ton of trees, and woods for the gems, it was time to get more. The only option was to attack. Then I came across the new feature in the game. You can now join a tournament where you can compete against other players in your league. Personally, I think this is exciting for gamers who play Clash of Clans.

I joined the tournament but my first battle was unpleasant. From the layout of the kingdom, it is obvious that I might not win the battle. My opponent's layout was well structured as well as his army. They were in the right places to define the clan from attack, at least that's how it felt.

The result didn't have much to say. It felt like nothing actually changed after I attacked the opponent's clan. I guess that is what a strong layout with an upgraded army and spells can do for you.

Due to my lack of upgrades on the clan and army, that is the reason for the loss. Check on your clan from time to time. At least I am trying that now after learning the hard way. I am eager to see how far I go in the tournament.
