Welcome to another game post from @southgamer, where I love to talk about my gaming experiences, games I play, and anything game-related. In today's episode, I played a new episode from the Legend Mode of Tsushima. As you all know that I am done with the main story in the Tsushima game, so I am what I am left with is to play more stories from the Legend mode.
Honestly, the Legend Mode stories have been so much fun that I expected them to be. I thought it was going to be nothing like the main Tsushima story about the life of Jin Sarkai, but now, believe me when I say this, I was wrong. It is even better. Filled with more story and a twisted side to the story. The introduction of new powers and new villains from the Mongol army makes it more exciting for me and keeps me going. Frankly, I think I am on the 8th episode now, if I am not mistaken.
The new episode I played today, when relaxing at home from work, is the Caravan of Thieves. This time, the Mongols are the thieves. They have been stealing the artefacts in the given village, although I do not remember the name of the village. All I remember is that my job is to get these artifacts back with the assistance of a villager. These artefacts are sacred to the Temple and serve a spiritual purpose for the village.
A new Mogol villain is also introduced in this story, and they possess dark magic as well. Shooting out dark spells for the staff, they swing around. I am fast at dodging their strikes, but it can be deadly when it hits you.
The story of three chapters. The first chapter is when I encounter the caravan of Mongol thieves, then I try to stop them, but it is too late. They go ahead to blow up the temple and elope with the precious artefacts from the temple. After a victorious swing of my blade and making them feel my blade's power, I was able to bring them and move over to the next chapter.
In the second chapter, I encounter the thieves while they are escaping and ambush them along the way. This way, I regained some of the stolen items, but there was only one left. The villager who fought alongside me was quite helpful, even down to the very end, but now all that is left is to regain the last item.
Sadly for me, this is where my Internet Service Provider went on a reboot, causing the game to falter since I was playing online. The most painful part is that I will have to start this episode again because the episode does not save until you have completed it. Not a big problem, I will play it again, and this time I'm sure I will be fast since I have played it previously.
Nonetheless, it was a good play, and I wonder what is next in the remaining stories from Legend Mode.
