Gamers and Game lovers,
Welcome to yet another blog from @southgmer, the blogger. I enjoy talking about my gaming experience and anything game-related. This time, I have unlocked new chapters in the Legend Mode stories of Ghost of Tsushima. One of the new chapters I unlocked is The Crow Demon of Otsuna, where the village of Kubara was taken over by the Mongols once again. This time, the Mongols have a crow demon backing them.
The shocking reveal for me is the power that comes with these crow demons. They can send out birds that come out with a speedy red light. On first encounter, I did not know what to do as it was shocking to me. I became stargusted because I was not expecting it. It is like taking a candle from a baby, but this time the baby isn't even looking at you.
The Crow Demon
My task was simple. - Rescue the fisherman - Defeat the demons and Mongols
At first glance of the hostage location, I tried to take a good look at the various positions of where the Mongols are, and their precise position, before going in stealth mode. I came from behind, took out the first two, then I was ambushed by the crow demon. Shooting out its dark magic at me and making it hard for me to defend against it since it happened so fast.
Unfortunately, the first strike from the crow demon got me, and even when I tried to avoid it, I wasn't fast enough to get to the hostage before the Mongol. So the hostage was killed on my first attempt at playing this chapter.
Obviously, gamers won't give up on the first attempt they make in a new challenge. Then I gave it another shot. I even remember having an emotional reaction that led me to say the fisherman should pick up a sword and fight for himself as well. My girlfriend laughed at me when she heard me say this.
Giving a shot for the second time, I knew I had to be faster with my move when trying to dodge the dark powers from the crow demons. Double-tapping was my plan, and striking fast when he is reloading his power.
I tried these plans and they worked for me more than I expected. Avoiding the crow demons is all about being fast with my dodges and strikes. After bringing them down, I moved over to stand close to the hostage to protect him from the Mongol's attacks.
Not bad when you reflect on it. The crow demons are powerful but slow, which I have to make up for with my speed. And now I am obsessed with what lies ahead as I cross the passage to the phase of the chapter.
See you in the next game.
