Welcome, and I would like to ask, do you fall for game ads as well? Well, that was my case today after I got back from work. You know the the free period you get after having a cool shower and just relaxing your nerves from what a hectic day you had. Yeah, that is what it felt like.
Within that brief moment, I scrolled through the gaming community for a while before heading off to count playing poker on my newly found obsession. That is correct, I have been a little busy learning poker for a minute or two, right before bed. As a rookie, you should not be surprised when I say I have blown all my chips away. Mainly on some huge bluffs, and just to test the water by finding out what this does and what that means.
A good thing is that the Zynga poker game app allows you to watch some ads; in exchange, you get new chips that you can play with. One of the games advertised to me was Dream League Soccer.
It has been a while since I heard anything about this game and a while since I played. But the ad was quite captivating. New upgrades are better than how I knew the game to be. It was even more responsive, so I discovered.
I downloaded it, and not too long after, I opened up the game app. The first thing I did was to create a team, and I simply used a combination of HIVE and GAMERS, and I created HIVEGAMERS. It made sense at the time, and since I knew I would still write about it, I just went with the flow. Next up was to create the coach, and it is no brainer that I used my username.
You have to choose your captain before you get the opportunity to play a game. I went for Christian Pulisic because he used to be a Chelsea player. I enjoyed watching, but now he plays for AC Milan.
The first match was quite simple, although I found it hard to score a goal in the first half of the match. I barely remember where the buttons were, and now there are three buttons. Making it a bit more confusing for me. Instead of shooting the ball, I was making crosses away from the post.
With the first half serving as my experiment gear, I tried something new in the second half. I made a substitute on my team just to check out how that can be done. It was simple, and Dream League has successfully found a way to place in the sub without disturbing the game. Fast and easy.
A defensive error occurred, and I got to punish that with a goal. At least I could win this match. Although I think it was easy since it was just my first match. Let us see how it goes. I hope it gets more challenging because now I remember why I stopped playing DLS. It is too easy and has no challenge.
