I finally found a Poker Game for my PC

Hey gamers and game lovers,

Welcome to my blog, where I talk about the games I play, my experience while playing them, and anything game-related.

In the past, I spoke about finally learning poker. I even downloaded a PDF book on playing poker called Poker for Dummies, where I got to learn all about the different kinds of hands you can use to win a pot in poker. Ever since I read that book, I have come to realize that having just a single pair might not be enough to get the win, especially when playing with a large number of people at the table.

Well, I guess I can say I learned that the hard way. When I started playing, I played on the Zynga Poker gaming app on my mobile phone and tablet, but I never got one for my laptop until today. The thought simply crossed my mind today that I should check it out on the Microsoft Store on my laptop for a poker game I could play on PC. Then I found: Hytopoker, also known as Texas Holdem Poker.

I have to say the graphics are quite simple, unique, and straight to the point. You do not get interrupted with ads, unlike Zynga Poker, where I get to watch at least 2 compulsory adverts. The ads in gaming are becoming alarming in these current times. As usual, I do not waste time when it comes to claiming a daily bonus or, better still, a free one. I got $2,100 worth of chips. Also, here is a unique difference between Hytopoker and Zynga poker: Zynga deals more with millions and billions in chips, while Hytopoker deals with hundreds and thousands in chips. What is next? Off to the table.

At first, joining the table, I had to wait a little bit for the ongoing game. It is a must that you wait for the ongoing round to be completed so you can join in on the next action. For me, it was not a big deal since three cards were already open and two more were left.

In the next round of the game, I was the big blind, and the only job of the big blind is to raise the stake of the small blind. If you feel your card is not strong enough, then you fold your hand and forego the stacked chip the small blind proposes for the bet.

Things took a bit of time, but later on, it got better, with the help of my card. I won the next round, but I forgot to take a screenshot. At least I finally found something to keep busy with while on break from work.

I am @southgamer. Try gaming and thank me later.
