Hello to you all in the community of Midnight Letters,
To those of you who do not know me yet, I am @southgamer, a gamer on the Hive blockchain. I love to document my gaming journey by sharing my experience on the games I play and anything game-related. With my interest in gaming, I would be sharing the games I play at midnight since it is a community for midnight crawlers, and I am one, but more of a midnight gamer.
If you do not see my posting any game here, just know I did not play the game at midnight, or my girlfriend seized my controller so I could go to sleep. Also, if you see her, do not tell her you saw her in the Midnight Letters community playing games.
At midnight today, I returned to the Towers of Mortal Kombat to work on my fighting skills for when I next return to online playing against other players. But this time I chose the easy mode since my hands have grown soft because I have not been playing Mortal Kombat as often as I used to when I was a kid.
Who is the better character to lead my comeback victory in training for more battles to come than the one and only Scorpion? Scorpion has been my go-to guy since I first set my eyes on Mortal Kombat because of how easy it is to memorize his moves. Although there might be other fighters that might be easier to memorize compared to Scorpion, I guess I would never know until I try them out.
My first opponent was against Shao Kahn, going under the disguise name of Power Mad. He looks so much like a bully, because of how big he looks, but luckily, Mortal Kombat is not about the size of the fighter, rather their quickness and fighting speed. Due to his size, I was fighting in easy mode; he was quite slow, and his moves were easy to anticipate. Each time he tried, I dodged his shoulder charge, then responded with an air kick and a good hit with my flaming blade that comes out when I go up and press triangle at the same time. It was fast to wrap Power Hand with my moves and a good opener for me into the tower of fighters. More to come as I move up the tower.
Up Next was Fujin, the God of Wind, who was under the disguised name of. He is a bit harder compared to Power Hand, with his desperate attempt at blowing me away with wind each time I came closer to hitting him. I had to focus, using Scorpion’s fast break punch to interrupt and respond to this wind and any other hit he tried on Scorpion. After two rounds, I took him out easily with flames and deadly punches, making it hard for him to last long in the round. I was close to a flawless victory.
The penultimate opponent was Nightwolf, disguised as Spirit Walk. The round was more intense as Spirit Walk actually put up a very good fight. I must commend the guy. Every time I landed a big hit, he would respond with his as well, making it more painful since I had to be consistent with my hits to bring this guy down. Night Walk can summon spirit animals whenever he launches his hit, and it is more life-draining than you would expect. Hopefully, I brought him down in the end.
Then I came to the last fighter on the first tower, Kronika, and she is more powerful and deadly. She could swap into another fighter when her life bar gets to half, making it hard for you to take her down immediately. This is because when the other fighter appears, they come with a full life bar, and you have to start fighting from scratch again. I tried hard, but I could not defeat her in this round. I have to try again another time.
Until then, try gaming at midnight and thank me later.
