Hey gamers and game lovers,
Welcome to my blog, where I talk about the games I play, my experience while playing them, and anything game-related.
It's been a heck of a day with a lot of work to be done. In the midst of it all, I got nostalgic about older times where things were so simple. I had only food and what game I would be playing next to worry about. Nothing much, and not to worry about bills to pay. Don't you just miss those good old days?
So went through my Google Play Games store on my laptop, looking for something to while away time, then I found Angry Birds 2. A game I have not played in ages. The last time I came across this game was literally on a Nokia device. When the game is preinstalled on the phone, you get to see it when you open the phone.
Through the launch screen of the game, I already got flashes of memories from when I used to play the game when I was much younger, and even when I watched the cartoon. I still remember Red, the determined one, always filled with anger, I guess. Chuck the yellow speedster, Bomb the black explosive one, and a couple of other birds.
After launching the game, the map still looked the same way I remembered it to be. Nothing really much changed. The controls, the placement of the red bird, and the green bird are the targets. There was a quick tutorial at the beginning, but I did not spend much time on that. What more did I have to learn since it boils down to shooting the green birds or pigs, I'm sure what they are anymore.
There are stages to the game, but as usual, the first stage is usually easy to pass through. I got past that easily, but things were a bit different on the next level. Now I could see the difference in the design compared to how it used to be. A much leveled-up playing style, if you asked me. I had to use Red's special red power to destroy the structure, especially where it felt far stretched. Quite a fun animation.
Since it is my first game, it only makes sense that I made a new high score, and as I progress further, I am sure I will be making more.
The nostalgic trip was nice to go through and funny to remember old times. Now it is time to get back to work. Those bills do not pay themselves.
