Hey gamers and game lovers,
Welcome back to my blog, where I talk about games and the games I play.
It was not all work for me today because my table was cleared last night. I pulled an all-nighter to carry out my task. The kind where your brain decides to run on full juice due to the adrenaline of not sleeping overnight.
But today, when I got home, I didn’t even want to think about emails or deadlines. Instead, I made some upgrades on Moon, the Hive Web3 game that has quietly become my favorite web3 game.
I have said it before, there is still something about logging in and watching my spaceship grow or space kingdom, whatever you call it. The game is about managing resources, upgrading facilities, and then building your way into space dominance. It is quite appropriate that after looking at screens for a while, I come back to play a game a little bit.
Tonight, I had three big upgrades running.
First up, my Ore Extractor 2. I upgraded. It took a while, probably because I was moving it to a new level, I guess. But still watching as it did. The purple progress bar shows how much of it is being upgraded, and I stayed glued to it.
Then, there was the Silicon Refinery 2. Another two minutes to wait, but this one is important because silicon is like the backbone of my operation. I need more silicon for more building. Without it, there’s no refining, no growth, no expansion. And that would be bad for my space kingdom. I cannot settle for that.
Lastly, the evening dessert: the Solar Power Plant 3 upgrade. This one had me locked in for over five minutes. Power is crucial in Moon, and watching the timer tick down felt like waiting to see my progress. It is like how power lights up the room, so it keeps my kingdom running.
If you find the game strange to you, here is why I still play it from time to time: it’s about strategy, patience, and building something that will last. Each upgrade is your kingdom's progress, and each completed task is a small victory, at least for me.
After that, the upgrade of my silicon refinery 2, it was time to wrap up things with my uranium centrifuge. I am not a scientist, but one thing I remember is that uranium is vital in the creation of nuclear weapons. So there might be a nuclear weapon for my spaceship as well. Then I chose to build the uranium centrifuge. That is why I chose to build a uranium centrifuge. Just for nuclear weapons 😆
Those are the few upgrades for now. I am running low on resources. I will figure out how to get more for a stronger spaceship.
Until then, I remain @southgamer and try gaming, and thank me later.
