Hey Gamers and Game Lovers,
Welcome to another game post from the blog of @southgamer, where I love talking about games I play, my experience playing them, and anything game-related.
It is yet another Friday, and you know the usual. It is time for the gaming weekend, where I get to sit back at home with a chilled beer and my cool gaming pad to enjoy some pretty cool games since I have left anything work-related in the office. My colleagues and some people enjoy the occasional weekend nightlife outing, but for me, a weekend with food, snacks, and some good video games is fine by me.
Today I decided to start the weekend gaming with The Ghost of Tsushima: Legend Story Mode. If you are familiar with the game, you should know that there are stories in the Legend Mode of the game, and these stories are truly interesting.
The story I played today was The Tale of Uchitsune. This time, Uchitsune is a person, not a place, and he is an archer that the Onibaba has held captive in her prison surrounded by Mongols under her spell. Utchitsune was captured because he challenged the Onibaba's hold over his village. I am guessing he got tired of answering to the Mongols and decided to do something about it, but the Onibaba landed him in prison when the Onibaba saw he was a threat to her supremacy.
Chapter 1: Revive Uchitsune's Spirit
Getting to Utchitsune's village, I discovered it was his spirit that had been held captive because of how powerful his bow and arrow were. His bow and arrow have the power to overcome Onibaba's dark powers, which the Mongols are using to give themselves strength and a more deadly strike. When you use the bow and arrow on a Mongol using the Onibaba's dark power, they freeze until you strike them and bring them down. On meeting Utchitsune's spirit, he gave me his powerful bow and arrow, so I equipped myself for the battle ahead in the village.
I took down the Mongols with the help of Uchitsune as my guide, and thanks to his bow and arrow, it made things a bit easier. He did not enjoy the fight since I had to learn how to use the bow and arrow by myself. Then we moved over to the second chapter of the tale, where we have to recover the inn from the Mongols.
Chapter 2: Recover the Inn from the Mongols
This part was very simple, like taking a candle from a baby. Since I was the ghost and I know how to walk in the dark, the Mongols were no match for my stealth moves and precise strikes to bring them all down. Then I moved over to chapter 3, the last chapter of the tale.
Chapter 3: Protect the Heart of Hiyoshi
This is the best chapter from the tale of Uchitsune. That is why it was served at the end. The task is the protect the Heart of Hiyoshi, something like the heart of the village or the cultural heritage of the village. In this chapter, Uchitsune and the ghost stood as gatekeepers, fighting off the Mongols as they kept coming in batches. The task: do not allow the Mongols to gain access to the Heart of Hiyoshi, and this was a real battle. We kept fighting bit by bit, arm by arm, and we did not stop until all these Mongols were brought down.
Together, we were able to take out all the Mongols and save the village. In the end, I achieved three things.
- Rescued Uchitsune's spirit
- Recovered the Inn
- Protected the Heart of Hiyoshi
So far I can say my weekend is off to a good start as I will have more gaming events lined up, HiveChess tournament and Rento Sunday Tournament, I hope I do not forget and something does not come up.
See you in the next game.
I am @southgamer. Try gaming and thank me later.
