Today, after work, I decided it is time I try a new football game since I have been playing a lot of football games on my mobile device. Since I am not financially ready to get the new FC26, it would not be all bad to try out UFL, since it is all free. Firstly, I watched a couple of videos on YouTube of gamers playing this game, and it was not all bad.
You get to create your team, and you are given a bunch of players, and as you play, more and more players will be unlocked as gifts for your plays and wins.
Next up, I created a team and, without overdoing do, I gave the team a name called HIVEGAMER. This is my newly found team name, I like to use it in any team creation opportunity. I used it for Dream League Soccer, some other game, and now UFL.
As a fan of Chelsea FC, I do not think much about the formation since Chelsea was the first team I saw using the 4-3-3 formation during Thomas Tuchel's coaching. So I went for the same formation. Ever since I came across the 4-3-3 formation, that is what I use for all my formation games when playing.
After all this, it is ideal to want to play a game. At this point, I was eager to check out what the gameplay feels like. I want to see how fast it was, if the speed and quick response are active while playing the game. I think this might be a new obsession because I can play online matches against other players, and whenever I have a friend over during the weekend, we can play a one-on-one match.
These are the players that I got for signing up to play the game. I replaced the previous goalkeeper on the team with the new one, that is a 77 rating. Below is the full man squad on the Hive Gamers team.
Next up, finally, was my first match. I was quite fast and fun to play as it felt a lot like playing PES. The graphics were fast as well as the response to the ball. Although I found it a bit weird that the circle button was for shooting and the box button was for crossing. You can change this in the settings, like I did.
The match was not a tough one, I guess, because it was my first game and I was still learning the ropes of the game. This was the case, and I found it difficult to tackle while playing the match. The opponent's striker passed through my defense easily without me doing a single thing pissed me off. I did not know how to tackle the player. I have to go back to the training section before I play a ranked match in the game.
After all the action, the game needed a draw. A 2-2 draw to be precise. I did not do a good job defensively, hence the reason for this result. Expect better ones from me when I get better at playing the game.
