Mejorando el área de la piscina en Los Sims 4

¡Hola a todos! De nuevo por acá con un nuevo post de Los Sims 4 que les tenía pendiente. Después de semanas jugando con esta familia, estoy gratamente sorprendida conmigo misma, no solo por no haberme aburrido, sino que he logrado seguir construyendo y mejorando mis construcciones. Poco a poco me voy dando cuenta de los errores de diseño y voy mejorando. En esta ocasión vengo a mostrarles como va quedando mi patio. Mi intención era mostrarles todo en cuanto lo terminara, pero después de haber invertido unas 3 horas solo creando el área de la piscina, preferí ir mostrando poco a poco los avances y luego el resultado final. También es necesario compartir que este terreno es GIGANTE, por lo que llenar cada rincón es prácticamente imposible en una sola partida. >! [English] > Hello, everyone! I'm back with a new post about The Sims 4 that I had pending for you. After weeks of playing with this family, I'm pleasantly surprised with myself, not only because I haven't gotten bored, but also because I've managed to continue building and improving my constructions. > >Little by little, I'm realizing my design mistakes and improving. This time, I'm here to show you how my backyard is coming along. My intention was to show you everything as soon as I finished it, but after spending about three hours just creating the pool area, I decided to show you the progress little by little and then the final result. I should also mention that this lot is HUGE, so filling every corner is practically impossible in a single game.  Como pueden ver en la siguiente imagen, ya tenía una piscina en el medio del terreno, pero poco a poco me fui dando cuenta de que el diseño no era coherente con el resto del rancho que estoy creando. Tampoco puedo usar la piscina todo el año porque en otoño y en invierno, mis sims se pueden congelar. Además, que al tener una granja con vacas, gallinas y caballos, no era para nada funcional. Por esta razón, decidí ubicar y diseñar un área nueva en una esquina, alejada de lo que realmente necesito tener más cerca. >! [English] > As you can see in the following image, I already had a pool in the middle of the lot, but little by little I realized that the design was not consistent with the rest of the ranch I am creating. I also can't use the pool all year round because in fall and winter, my Sims can freeze. Furthermore, since I have a farm with cows, chickens, and horses, it wasn't functional at all. For this reason, I decided to locate and design a new area in a corner, away from what I really need to have closer by.  Por supuesto, no quería crear algo común. Lo más normal sería colocar una piscina en el medio de la nada, poner un par de tumbonas y ya está. Pero yo quería algo más bonito, un diseño que realmente amara, pero para esto tenía que hacer muchos pasos. Quería que la piscina estuviera elevada, pero esto no era posible porque el juego no me lo permite, así que lo que hice fue crear unos pasillos de dos metros de ancho alrededor de la piscina, derribar las paredes y elevar con la herramienta de plataformas. Así el área se vería elevada, pero la piscina realmente estaría al ras del piso. >! [English] > Of course, I didn't want to create something ordinary. The most normal thing would be to put a pool in the middle of nowhere, add a couple of sun loungers, and that's it. But I wanted something nicer, a design that I really loved, but to do that I had to take many steps. I wanted the pool to be elevated, but that wasn't possible because the game doesn't allow it, so what I did was create two-meter-wide walkways around the pool, knock down the walls, and elevate it with the platform tool. That way, the area would look elevated, but the pool would actually be flush with the floor.  |  -|- Agregué en un extremo, un área con sombra. Este fue el paso más complicado, porque el techo lo hice enramado, con unas bardas mínimas que están en la opción construir, quité el piso que se genera, y agregué plantas, arbustos y flores. Añadí pisos, escaleras, pinturas tanto para las paredes como para las plataformas. Y luego empecé a amoblar. Agregué una chimenea para las noches cálidas, una parrillera, tumbonas y muchas, muchas plantas. >! [English] > I added a shaded area at one end. This was the most complicated step, because I made the roof out of branches, with minimal fences that are in the build option, removed the floor that is generated, and added plants, bushes, and flowers. > > I added floors, stairs, and paintings for both the walls and platforms. Then I started furnishing it. I added a fireplace for warm nights, a grill, lounge chairs, and lots and lots of plants.  ||  -|-|- En el área de la piscina agregué escaleras, luces, un trampolín y un tobogán. Además, quise que toda el área tuviera estilo, por lo que rodeé la parte baja, alrededor de la piscina, con muebles para sentarse. >! [English] > In the pool area, I added stairs, lights, a diving board, and a slide. I also wanted the whole area to look stylish, so I surrounded the lower part, around the pool, with seating furniture.  |  -|- Pueden notar que predomina el color blanco. Para esto tuve que tomar una decisión y cambiar el color de toda la barda que rodea a toda la casa, fue un trabajo un poco tedioso, pero creo que valió la pena. Puse más maceteros, plantas en las ventanas e hice todo lo más verde posible para que se hiciera más cohesivo el diseño. >! [English] > Pueden notar que predomina el color blanco. Para esto tuve que tomar una decisión y cambiar el color de toda la barda que rodea a toda la casa, fue un trabajo un poco tedioso, pero creo que valió la pena. Puse más maceteros, plantas en las ventanas e hice todo lo más verde posible para que se hiciera más cohesivo el diseño.  Yo amé el resultado, creo que es de las cosas más bonitas que he podido diseñar en este juego y ya estoy pensando en que hacer con el resto de las áreas. Tengo pendiente la caballeriza, un nuevo vivero y el área de los animales de granja. Además, tengo un espacio en el medio del terreno en el que no tengo aún idea de qué hacer allí. Ya se me irá ocurriendo. ¿Qué les ha parecido como quedó? >! [English] > I loved the result. I think it's one of the prettiest things I've been able to design in this game, and I'm already thinking about what to do with the rest of the areas. I still have to do the stables, a new nursery, and the farm animal area. I also have a space in the middle of the land that I have no idea what to do with yet. I'll think of something.
