Today we won’t have any character protagonists, as we’ll be drawing an object—in this case, a weapon inspired by Holozing’s weapon designs, which we’ll use as reference. I’m not a big fan of drawing weapons, but we’ll do our best and stick to today’s prompt!

Hoy continuamos dibujando y llevando a cabo el reto del Zingtober, y me encanta poder estar otro año más participando. Así que vamos a seguir el calendario del Inktober—el prompt de hoy es el correspondiente al día número 21: BLAST!
Hoy no tendremos protagonistas, ya que dibujaremos un objeto—en este caso, un arma inspirada en los diseños de armas de Holozing que usaremos como referencia. No me gusta mucho dibujar armas, pero haremos nuestro mejor esfuerzo y de paso ajustarnos a nuestro prompt de hoy.
I’ll be drawing a weapon mid-explosion, with fire bursting from its tip. It’s a device that doesn’t use bullets, but rather pure energy—belonging to one of the Healers from the Holozing universe, who probably left it in the wrong place, discharged. Luckily, it was just a scare and didn’t cause a major accident. I’ll be using Ibis Paint for the entire drawing, and relying heavily on the ruler tool to build the base structure of the weapon. As for the coloring, I’ll keep it simple: solid tones with gradients to simulate metallic surfaces and structure. I really enjoyed this drawing, especially considering how rarely I draw objects—and almost never weapons. I think today’s prompt was fulfilled beautifully.
Estaré dibujando un arma en una gran explosión mientras sale fuego de su extremo. Es un arma que no usa balas, sino energía en su estado más puro, perteneciente a uno de los Healers del universo de Holozing, que seguro la dejó en mal lugar descargada. Suerte que solo fue un susto y no causó un gran accidente. Para todo el dibujo estaré usando Ibis Paint, además me apoyaré mucho en la herramienta regla para poder hacer la estructura base de mi arma. En cuanto al coloreado, lo mantendré simple: colores sólidos con degradados para simular estructuras y superficies metálicas. Me gustó mucho este dibujo, para las pocas veces que dibujo objetos y las nulas que dibujo armas. Además, creo que se cumplió con creces el prompt de hoy.
