Today we won’t have any character protagonists, as we’ll be drawing an object—or more precisely, technology. In this case, it’s a weapon inspired by the logo designs of the various Healers from the Holozing universe, which we’ll use as reference. The concept of buttons will be reflected in different ways.

Hoy continuamos dibujando y llevando a cabo el reto del Zingtober, y me encanta poder estar otro año más participando. Así que vamos a seguir el calendario del Inktober—el prompt de hoy es el correspondiente al día número 22: BUTTON!
Hoy no tendremos protagonistas, ya que dibujaremos un objeto, o mejor dicho, tecnología. En este caso, un arma inspirada en los diseños de los logos de los distintos Healers de Holozing que usaremos como referencia. El concepto botones estará reflejado de distintas formas.
We’ll be drawing a retro-style cellphone with physical buttons. On the screen, you’ll see app icons featuring the logos of the Holozing Healers: Ocean, Forest, and Light. When I imagine the technology in the Holozing universe, I picture a mix of Y2K, retro, and solarpunk futurism. It’s a simple phone with both modern and nostalgic elements—a touchscreen with icons to call the Healers, plus physical buttons not just for volume control but also to answer and reject calls, and even one of those classic scroll wheels on the screen.
For the entire drawing, I’ll be using Ibis Paint, relying heavily on the ruler tool for the overall design. I worked entirely in grayscale, using solid color blocks and some gradients to give the phone a metallic and glass-like effect. I really loved the final result—honestly, one of my favorites from this Zingtober. I also added a quick background to place the phone on a surface with a projected shadow.
Estaremos dibujando un teléfono celular con botones, en un estilo retro. Además, veremos en la pantalla distintos botones de aplicaciones con íconos de los logos de los Healers de Holozing: Ocean, Forest y Light. Cuando pienso en la tecnología del universo de Holozing, me imagino una mezcla entre Y2K, retro y futurista solarpunk. Será un teléfono simple con elementos modernos y retros: pantalla táctil con los íconos para llamar a los Healers, pero también botones físicos no solo para subir y bajar el volumen, sino también para responder y rechazar llamadas, así como una de esas clásicas ruedas de movimiento en pantalla. Para todo el dibujo estaré usando Ibis Paint, donde nos apoyaremos mucho en la herramienta regla para el diseño general. También trabajaremos todo en escala de grises y utilizaremos bloques de color sólido y algunos degradados para dar ese efecto de metal y cristal al teléfono móvil. El resultado final me gustó mucho, la verdad—de mis favoritos de este Zingtober. También le hice un pequeño fondo rápido para colocar el teléfono sobre una superficie con sombra proyectada.
