We’ll be drawing Zingu today, so let’s give him a warm welcome and start sketching!
¡Hola amigos y comunidad de Holozing! Espero que estén teniendo un muy lindo día. Hoy continuamos dibujando y llevando a cabo el reto del Zingtober, y me encanta poder estar otro año más participando. Así que vamos a seguir el calendario del Inktober—el prompt de hoy es el correspondiente al día número 28: Skeletal.
¡Estaremos dibujando a Zingu, así que le damos la bienvenida y comenzamos a dibujar!
For today’s drawing I used Ibis Paint, and the star of the piece is Zingu, that cheerful little penguin with ice powers. He’s just had a feast with a big, delicious fish—and now, all that’s left on the plate in front of him are the bones, the fish’s skeleton. That’s how I tackled today’s prompt, and I think the drawing fits perfectly with the theme for day 28.
Since I’ve drawn Zingu many times before, it was quite easy to bring him to life again. To create the perspective of the plate and table, I used not only the tools and various ruler types in Ibis Paint, but also drew the fish flat on the side and then distorted it to make it fit the scene.
As with all these days, I limited the color to a grayscale palette. Through different blending modes, I was able to create not only light and shadow, but also a bit of volume.
Para el dibujo de hoy estuve usando Ibis Paint, y el protagonista del dibujo será Zingu, este alegre pingüinito con el poder del hielo. Se habrá dado un festín con un gran y delicioso pescado, y en el plato delante de él solo quedan las espinas—el esqueleto del pez. Así quedó resuelto el prompt de hoy, y creo que el dibujo sin dudas se ajusta muy bien a la temática del día 28.
Como he dibujado a Zingu muchas veces, fue bastante fácil volver a dibujarlo. Para crear la perspectiva del plato y la mesa no solo usé las herramientas y distintos tipos de reglas de Ibis Paint, sino que también dibujé el pez de forma plana a un costado y después lo deformé para que encajara en la perspectiva del dibujo.
El color, como todos estos días, fue limitado solamente a una paleta de escala de grises, donde a través de distintos modos de fusión logré no solo crear luces y sombras, sino un poco de volumen.
