Since this is the second-to-last drawing, I want it to be special. Ocean Healer will return, and we’ll somehow connect this piece to the drawing for day 31.

¡Hola amigos y comunidad de Holozing! Espero que estén teniendo un muy lindo día. Hoy continuamos dibujando y llevando a cabo el reto del Zingtober, y me encanta poder estar otro año más participando. Así que vamos a seguir el calendario del Inktober, el prompt de hoy es el correspondiente al día número 30: Vacant.
Quiero que este dibujo, al ser el penúltimo, sea especial. Así que regresará Ocean Healer y lo uniremos de alguna forma al dibujo correspondiente al día 31.

As I mentioned in the introduction to this blog, today we bring back our beloved Ocean Healer to show us his trophy collection, earned across countless competitions throughout the Holozing universe. There’s no sport or competitive activity he can’t master—well, all except one.
He has never won first place in the vial-collecting competition, and that trophy still eludes him. Last time, a Forest Healer was the champion. Even so, he leaves an empty space on his shelf, a vacant spot for that trophy, knowing that one day he’ll earn it because he works so hard.
I believe today’s prompt is more than justified, and we’ve also left a small door open for the final day’s prompt, which you’ll see soon.
I made this entire drawing in Photoshop, and it’s special because I used a new pencil tip for the first time. The strokes were a bit tricky since it’s made of a softer material I hadn’t tried before.
As always, I followed the rule of using only grayscale. I started with a small sketch and worked through to the final coloring, just as I usually do.
Bueno, como adelantaba en la introducción de este blog, hoy traemos a nuestro querido Ocean Healer para mostrarnos su colección de trofeos que ha alcanzado en las distintas competiciones a lo largo y ancho del universo Holozing. No hay deporte ni actividad competitiva que se le resista, bueno... todas menos una.
Nunca ha tenido el primer lugar en la competencia de recolección de viales, y ese trofeo se le resiste. La última vez, una Forest Healer fue la campeona. Aun así, está dejando en su estante ese espacio vacío, esa vacante para incluir ese trofeo, que él sabe que algún día logrará porque se esfuerza mucho.
Creo que con esto nuestro prompt de hoy está más que justificado. Además, dejamos una pequeña puerta abierta para el prompt del último día, que ya verán.
