Lately, the quality of the community’s work has been amazing, and that makes me really happy. Today, I want to share my entry for Round 236—an entry I wanted to keep simple, but filled with a deep message.

Estamos teniendo mucha calidad últimamente en los trabajos de la comunidad y eso me alegra mucho. Hoy les quiero compartir mi entrada para el round 236, una entrada que quise que fuera simple pero que cargara un mensaje profundo.
Let's Make a Collage - A Contest for All Creatives on Hive - Round 236 - ✨40 HIVE in the Prize Pool!✨
We begin with the image for this occasion—a beautiful scene. I love it when the starting images are landscapes; they give us so many possibilities, although sometimes it also makes it hard to choose just one path.
Comenzamos con la imagen de esta ocasión, una escena hermosa. Me encanta cuando las imágenes con las que partimos son paisajes; hacen que tengamos demasiadas opciones, aunque a veces también hace difícil escoger un único camino.
As soon as I saw the image, I said—2013 is back! Let’s do a double exposure. This effect was quite popular during the 2010s, and I’ve done it several times before. The great thing about it is that you can experiment a lot with different layer blending modes.

As you can see, the protagonist of our image will be a polar bear. I’ll use this round’s image to create a double exposure effect over its fur, blending in green textures of plants and foliage. I’ll also incorporate the mountains as an abstract element in one of the corners of the collage. I want the message to be simple but clear: a polar bear drifting on an iceberg, having lost its habitat—and that must be reflected in the final image. I’ll stick to a palette of muted, cool tones.
Y como pueden ver, el protagonista de nuestra imagen será un oso polar. Utilizaré la imagen de este round para hacer una sobreexposición sobre su pelaje y lograr una textura verde de plantas y follaje. También utilizaré las montañas como parte abstracta del collage en una de las esquinas. Quiero un mensaje sencillo pero claro: un oso polar a la deriva sobre un iceberg, ha perdido su hábitat y eso se tiene que ver reflejado en la imagen final. Además, mantendré una paleta de tonos opacos y fríos.
