Hello friends! Today we’re moving to a new island in Animal Crossing—an island we’ll be shaping little by little to make it cozy and beautiful. I plan to share all the ideas that come to mind to turn it into a welcoming place. I’ll be posting photos of the island and its inhabitants, and I’ll be reading every comment to improve it together.
So, we’ve grabbed our plane ticket and are heading to our new island to receive the basic instructions and begin our life as islanders alongside two new neighbors. Here we go!

The island’s introductory video is absolutely beautiful—I’m already eager to get to work: picking pears and oranges, catching bugs, decorating, and fishing.
I love fishing. Any game with a fishing minigame is instantly a favorite for me.
And the best part of Animal Crossing? All the possible collections we can build!

We’ve arrived at our island—our future cozy, sweet home!
We meet our two neighbors, and Tom gives us the first instructions alongside our tent.
I just hope he doesn’t charge us too much for it… but Tom always finds a way to profit in bells from everything he does.

The inventory looks a bit empty with just that one item, but it’s better to explore the island first and talk to our neighbors.
That way, we’ll know where they plan to set up their tents and get a full view of the surrounding landscape.

Now that everyone has a good place to live, tents are set up, and night is falling over the island, Tom wants to celebrate the end of the day and the beginning of our new life as islanders.
So he asks us to gather—for the first time, we’ll be collecting, perhaps the most iconic activity in Animal Crossing.
And what will we collect? Of course—oranges for juice!
Our island is full of orange trees and branches for the campfires.
An orange here, a branch there, shake a few trees… and everything’s ready!
Y como ya todos tienen un buen lugar en donde vivir, tiendas armadas y la noche está cayendo sobre la isla, Tom querrá celebrar el fin de un día y el comienzo de la nueva vida de isleño.
Así que nos pedirá ir a recolectar—por primera vez estaremos recolectando, quizás la actividad más típica de Animal Crossing.
