Zelda NPCs: Aesthetic

Hello friends and fellow video game lovers. I hope you’re having a really nice day. Today, I’d especially like to share some screenshots that I love from the game: Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The photos I’m sharing today are taken inside the game itself, using one of the functions of the Sheikah Slate. In its internal album we can only store 48 photos, so it’s always good to save space for the most striking ones.

The shots I’m sharing today are of NPCs. I really love the aesthetic of the NPCs in Breath of the Wild, especially the inhabitants of Kakariko Village with their traditional clothing. The character design in this game is so well done, and seeing how each NPC reacts to the weather and to danger makes the world truly feel full of life and color.

On top of that, each NPC blends beautifully into the landscape. Instead of just posing, they interact with their surroundings—they walk, work, rest…

In this game, NPCs are much more than simple decorations or quest-givers. They’re not filler. They breathe, travel, dream, and remember. They accompany Link as the protagonist, but at the same time every villager, traveler, merchant, and soldier is their own world. You feel like you’re exploring a reality full of peculiarities, where every inhabitant expresses their race and culture, along with unique clothing and weapons.

This visual diversity doesn’t just embellish—it creates a Hyrule that’s beautiful and rich in cultures. The NPCs’ faces are expressive, and even though they have a slightly cartoonish air, they still feel real. Most of them only have short conversations, but the artistic coherence is so strong that words become unnecessary.

Well, friends, I hope you find this post interesting. I really enjoyed writing it, and of course I enjoyed playing even more. See you in another post, and as always, I leave you with my best wishes for luck and success. Bye bye
